    Great video. I just bought these, after a break in they sound better, more dynamic with extended clean deep base. Best sound is to keep them away from walls I find. When I unpacked mine the speaker was upside down in the box with the plinth right there. Simply install the plinth or spikes while it's in the box then flip them upright, remove box, cool Klipsch idea. Great review, the speakers are exceptional.

    I will get my set in August along with my RC-64 and a hole lot more gear. Will use a digitale amp 2 x 1000W in 8 Ohm. And i will use second amp for the center. So 3 x 1000 w in the front is ok for me. Did yuou notice any change in sound while using the speaker with and without the bottom plate.

      @homecinemaking397 Nice!. This was my ultimate breakdown a few months back. I choose the MA Golds in the end as I preferred the build quality, finish, ribbon tweeters, and general musicality of the Golds. The RF7s were just too big and heavy for my lounge, but definitely good for people who have a big room and want huge bass. MA's were a bit more expensive but worth the difference IMO. Made in China makes no difference to me as when you the Golds in person you know they're built to a very high standard.

    If you want a speaker for mostly home theater or very bass heavy music, these RF7iii’s are absolute beasts and highly recommended.
    If you’re more into music, then other speakers are better options. I have the JBL HDI 3800’s. While they don’t have the low bass output of the RF7’s, they are better in every other way for music, especially midrange.

    • @chriss881000
      @chriss881000 Před rokem +1

      The rf7 does not have deeper bass than the 3800's rly. They just have more slam and are more boomy, take klipsches specs with a grain of salt, since they "lie" about their specs on all their products. They measuring "in room" on all specs. For example sensetivity is about 93db, not 100+ on paper. The 3800's go easy down to 30hz in a normal livingroom

    Horns distort sound. A megaphone is an exaggerated example. There were made 100 years ago because amps weren't powerful. Archaic technology.

      Actually horns replicate the human voice etter than domes and are generally much more lively.

    It seems to me that all Klipsch speakers are a bit of a joke, with overblown treble range and very often with poor driver integration at the crossover, leaving a deep hole in the response which only gets worse as you go off-axis. See the upgrade and fix for this model at GR-Research here: czcams.com/video/vdKUc01yL8E/video.html&ab_channel=GR-Research and the 8000. It costs a few dollars but if you already own these speakers, doing the upgrsde is better than replacing them with anther new speaker that will also contain low quality crossover parts, and certainly better than buying another new Klipsch model.. good luck
