DJ-707M is Roland's latest 4-channel DJ controller, specially designed for Mobile DJs which comes loaded with Serato DJ Pro software. The DJ-707M is compact but loaded with features to add more of a unique aspect to your mixes.

Great review. I have seen several online and this is by far the most in-depth that has me strongly looking at this now. Though I have never really used serato. Used mainly Traktor and VDJ. Great to have a Zone and Booth! The microphone choices and great to have the various built in TRS drum pattern sequences. Thanks again for great time spent and editing for the video. Sometimes reviews go really really fast and will speak about a function and not really show how it is done. So greatly appreciated for the care and thought put into this video and vocal cadence and clarity. rating 10. New Subscriber.

Cool unit
I never had an issue with my laptop going down.
However, the right jog wheel on my DJ 505 kept freezing the tracks in the middle of a set.
I need someone from Roland to say that they worked hard on this issue and corrected any faults so that the 707M
will be reliable for a long time.
Sturdy decks and pads that can handle the road is what I need. Don't mean to be picky.
Best controller ever! Roland should make a version 2 with a touch screen and standalone option built in; everything else can remain the same.
I still have questions about the use of the SFX while the music is playing 🎉
Aloha, Hope you can still field questions here. I got the Roland 707M to do corporate gigs here in Hawaii. I found one problem other than it being difficult to change the stand alone effects having to press a couple of buttons and then dial in the wanted effect, and that is with Serato effect "Combo TapeEcho". When I use this effect it leaves a tail which is fine if you can control it. But it continues after I turn the knob down and press the off buttons. The only way that I can kill this continuing noise is to press the track selector button on the Serato effects area, and on one time, that didn't work and i had to shut down and restart the unit. Can you try this out, and see if you experience the same thing with the "Combo TapeEcho" Serato effect? Thanks. Keep up the great videos!
Can you load up your own bank of effects and or samples on this one? And as per VDJ would you have to map the configuration for all elements of the hardware to work with VDJm
I have a question about the 10 savable scenes. I do corporate shows that are in ballrooms that usually have an audio tech that takes care of tuning the room. So I am more interested in using the scenes more as presets that can be changed during a performance to alter the settings on the built-in effects in real time. Is this possible?
Can you use different software between the two usb ports, for example 1) laptop is using Virtual DJ & 2) the other laptop is using serato. Also can the 2nd usb port for mobile devices... do it use android phones? Thanks
Why no vinyl indicator for the jog wheels? At that price point it is to be expected?
The only things holding me back from buying this unit is the jogs and the pitch faders, really disappointed about that, as otherwise this is the complete unit :(
