    Great video! I'd love to see it compared side by side to the DDJ-SB3 and Traktor S2 in size.

    Nice! I come from a sound engineering background, never even thought about needing all the built in routing/effects/output settings, really cool feature (for people that will know how to use it)
    I'm half tempted myself - although it's more for corporate and wedding DJ's, would be great to see this put to the test as a performance controller similar to what you'd typically use a DDJ1000 for or so!

    Can you change the scene setting during a performance? I usually play in ballrooms for corporate gigs and there is a sound guy who takes care of the sound in the room, but I would love to be able to use the scene setting changes so that I could change the filter/FX type on the fly, and maybe even the TR settings during performance as well.

    Does anyone know if the DJ707m voice effects are actually usable for a singer? How do the effects compare to a Yamaha MG10XU mixer? It would be great if someone posted a video on CZcams singing using the DJ707m.

      The mics just need setting up on their gain correctly, once done they are fine, theres videos on doing it, once done no more issues, and very clean sound

    When you save a scene, does it adjust the knobs to the desired settings (eg: gain settings) or will it not automatically default to where the volume sits at on the knob itself. Meaning are the buttons and knobs automated to adjust to the last desired setting?

    • @djholland4235
      @djholland4235 Před 4 lety

      No the knobs aren't automated. The scenes just save the settings you have changed in the menu, so for example if you set more gain on a mic channel that will be saved but you still have full physical control over that gain on the level knob. So you can set 10db gain if you wish but that's when the level knob is at max, you can decide to turn it down if you wish with that knob. If that makes sense?

    • @indiglorush
      @indiglorush Před 4 lety

      @@djholland4235 That makes sense. Guess my concern was whether or not you would get a jolt in the sound output the second you go to move the knob from the desired setting location. Do the knobs have an unending rotation to them or do they have a stopping point in their rotation? Cause I think this would affect sound output jumping higher or lower from scene settings once knob is turned manually. Hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

    Please confirm/compare the quality of mic pre-amp vs external mixer mic pre-amps. Mine sounds dry compared to the mic pre-amp of my Yamaha mixer. Even after tweaking the eq/compressor and effects on and off. I thought I would get rid of my external mixer after getting this! Still a great controller tho. But please confirm the quality of mic pre-amp! Also the anti feedback thing is a joke. It makes the overall sound muffled. 😂
