    A GREAT controller ,plenty of features ,easy to use ,FANTASTIC sound card better than SRT1000, my only so called gripe I wish the settings window was BIGGER ,but that said I can't fault it ,YES many will look past this controller because of make as its not one of the BIG 2/3 ,but its does so much more than many of those names and in my opinion a better sounding controller too ,would have been nice if you had given a longer mention to the settings screen and ALL the functions within

    Am i tripping or is it smaller than the turntable ?

  • @dj_paultuk7052

    So, basically the same as a mc7000, but with a zone out, some hardware effects, and Que loops. Its small form factor looks like it could get a bit tricky if you have massive hands like me. As its all so tightly packed together.

      DJ_PaulTUK don’t forget the anti mic feedback feature. 💥

    • @recloose2041
      @recloose2041 Před 4 lety +5

      Well, it also has capability to route individual inputs to outputs (e.g. only mics to zone) and can tune every output (4 band EQ/Multiband Compression/Limiter etc) individually. Pretty sure MC7000 doesn't do this.

    Can we have 2 different FX on 1 mic?
    I see 2 FX knobs
    Not sure if each knob is for each channel
    And if each channel has to have same FX
    Would like to have a reverb. And a delay on channel 1. And be able to control them independently

    • @SeratoHQ
      @SeratoHQ  Před 4 lety +2

      Hey!
      The two Mic FX knobs will affect both Mics, you're not limited to 1 FX knob per Mic.
      The FX knobs use built-in Roland FX, so if you have any further questions about this I'd recommend getting directly in touch with Roland :)

    • @leevarino6291
      @leevarino6291 Před 4 lety

      Serato so I can have a reverb and delay. Or reverb and chorus on mic. One knob controls reverb. The other knob controls. Delay? Then we u turn fx on for mic 2. It gets same 2 FX? I thought each knob was for each corresponding mic channel

      There's a Range button on the 707M! hit it to flick between the tempo ranges :)

    I don’t think this video does either the software or hardware justice in particular the DJ-707M spends a lot of time out of shot or viewed from odd angles or only filling about one quarter of the screen. Fortunately there are some other very good videos on YT.

      All the inputs can be routed individually to outputs, so gives you flexibility to send to videographer, another zone, etc.

    Nice stuff, considering buying it! Would love to have it in better design but it’s OK, in the dark the people won’t see it! :-)
    But as mobile DJ, I also need autoplay with cross fading or simple automix in Serato DJ Pro. Because I'm not mixing all the time at long events: there is time when background music is enough. Now I use Virtual DJ 8 with automix in such cases, so it would be nice to have at least simple autoplay with cross fading in Serato DJ Pro. Thanks in advance!
    PS: If there're DJs who don’t need autoplay or automix, so they don't have to use it :-)

    What extra cables should I get in order to use the controller and connect it to my laptop and to the speakers?

    • @SeratoHQ
      @SeratoHQ  Před 3 lety +1

      The cables you will need are:
      + USB A to B cable (should be supplied with DJ-707M)
      + XLR or RCA cable for master output
      + TRS cable for booth output
      These cables are all available from your local DJ store or online retailers.
      Cheers,
      C

    Just returned the ddj1000 srt....it not worth the hype. Looping is a joke you have to hit shift to shorten or extend loop. The on board fx don’t always auto bpm and to tap the bpm you have to hit shift and a button to tap the right bpm...sound quality is trash sound horrible. Crossfader Can only be adjusted thru the software...might pull the trigger on this Roland 707.

    • @leevarino6291
      @leevarino6291 Před 4 lety

      eddiesorianog do you have to use shift on Roland to shorten loops? Like the SRT?

      Sound quality always seems to be an issue on Pioneer controllers. They seem to use really cheap DAC's. Sound like the Denon Prime4 should be where you are heading. Top class ESS 32bit DAC too.
