Dope controller and loaded with features. Just thinking about the size.. might struggle in some DJ booths I work in. The SP1 on a reloop stand just about fits most booth space. This might be a squeeze and rather not have it hanging over the mixer, covering the treble and gain knobs.
I'm waiting for Serato to implement the autoloop function as well as rekordbox, set my loop and activate automatically when it reaches the section where loop is activated! Unfortunately, this function is currently missing from Serato a function that would be helpful to any DJ, it would save us a lot of time when we were at the desk.
You can already do this. Just save the loop, name it and then you can activate it in the loop are independend from where you are currently in the song with the playhead. When u reach the loop area it will loop until u deactivate it. You even must not save it... you can just set the loop before mixing the song in, let it activated and then use a cue point or click the area you want to mix in from in the track overview waveform and mix in the track while the loop is still active. Hi. Why I cannot activate Pad Mode no 5 for pitch play mode? When i hold Shift and press Pad Mode 1 nothing happens. But if I hold Shift and press twice the Pad Mode 1 the 16 pads becomes all white and when I press the pads nothing happens. Is there something wrong with the device or? Please help. Thank you.

I just received my XP2 and hooked it up to my DDJ-1000SRT. When I load a song onto deck 1 (left side), and press the first pad to cue the song, it does not turn red. It does so on deck 2 (right side), but not the left. Do you know what could cause this?
Unfortunately it doesn't work with serato play (like it works with rekordbox) Even if it won't unlock serato, it would be more useful to use it with Serato Play Mode as to prep and play around with flip mode without hurting ur computer keyboard
Just recently purchased the DDJ XP2 to use with my Pioneer S11 Mixer. I cannot swap the Sample Banks on the XP2 using the parameter buttons on the unit as I would on the mixer. I have even tried using the Shift + Parameter button , but it doesnt work. How can I move through the sample banks on the XP2 , without having to touch the mixer or the Laptop? Please help
You can use this device with a controller. You also have 8 sample slots in 4 sample banks, which brings your total to 32 sample slots in total. Let us know if you have more questions at support@serato.com.
Hello can you tell me where the Serato Brooklyn studio is located. I've been having some issues with Serato dj and I have not been able to get good customer service from the Serato dj website.
Basically this controller is for dj with mixer that doesn’t have built in controllers like the S9 and the 72? so, i can use this with my old ttm56 and SL3 right?
Would this thing work in conjunction with the Numark Scratch Mixer? I' m asking especially for controlling the FX. When using the Numark Scratch you can' t save custom FX settings cause everytime you reopen Serato DJ the Scratch Mixer overwrites the settings to fit it' s controls on the mixer surface. So, will there be conflicts between the Scratch and the XP2 Controller? THX
Hi there. The FX type shouldn't change when you restart the software with the Scratch connected. The Scratch only changes the FX loaded to Slot 1 (on both sides) if you press one of the FX select buttons. You could save FX banks A and B if you want to use these buttons and still be able to return to a saved bank afterwards. You can still control FX with the XP2's touch strips and FX1,2,3 buttons when using it alongside a Scratch. Whatever depth control is currently being used will alter the FX depth. Same deal with the paddles and touch strips. Whatever was used last determines the on/off state of the FX. Finally, remember that the Scratches FX paddles, depth and FX select buttons will only affect slot 1 (on both sides), so the XP2 can be used to control slots 2 and 3 and the paddles can be used with 1 if you like. Or, just control everything from the XP2. TLDR: Yes, it will work - if you're still unclear about it, please send us an email via support@serato.com
I want to use the XP2 primarily to trigger my samples. is there a way to midi map things so all my 32 samples in serato (8 for each bank) are mapped to the 32 pads? I tried it and it seems to only trigger whatever bank is chosen in the serato interface. Thanks in advance.
I was hoping that with 32 pads on this thing, all samples would be usable at one time without switching banks...oh well, maybe later they might implement it

Serato limits the sampler to be triggered one bank at a time. for example if you switch the bank while a sampler is playing it will stop
