They had so much space to do it in the bottom left corner of each deck and they just didn’t do it. If I get it I’ll end up mapping it over the pitch bend but it really should’ve had dedicated buttons for that already.
Hi, thanks for your interest! Currently, the DJM-S11 only offers the ability to mute stems - there’s no fine control over the level of each stem. I asked my Pioneer rep and they didn’t indicate any plans to change this with a future update, but of course we never know what might happen down the line. Great question. All you need to do to use stems is to have the most recent Rekordbox update and to toggle it on! I assume like a lot of the other features, it does require the standard analysis of the files like you need for BPM and harmonic mixing. If you have any other questions, give me a ring! auto transition is clever, but seems a little gimmicky, because you can do this manually anyways, its one of the few things you actually get to use the pitch fader for these days
