The panthers just need to play the style that got them to the finals. Relentless forechecking and suffocating any offense the opponent brings even if it is mcdavid and vision should not be him hosting the cup. The motivation and imaging of barkov lifting the cup at home ice in game 7. Even though they lost 3 straight it doesn’t matter now. For the players, enjoy the moment of playing a game 7. Other teams are jealous because that’s a hockey players dream to be were the oilers and the panthers. Nobody should be nervous just be proud that you’re team is this far in June and is 1 game that will decide from image to reality. Good luck panthers.

Paul Maurice is undefeated in game 7s. Both with the Panthers and throughout his entire 26 year career. McDavid has never recovered from even a 0-2 series deficit.
Yes but oilers have a streak any time they have lost 3 games this year they won 8 straight then next 3 game loss streaks won 16 in a row the other time 5 straight oilers really from game 1 that they could have blown Florida out but BBsaved them then this new 3 game streak for oilers have been pretty convincing wins it's almost like something magical is coming

At this point history doesn't matter. This is the first time a team has dragged its way back from down 3-0 in finals history. And yes I'm not counting the two series in WW2 because that wasn't the NHL back then, it's a completely different league now

I'm a Canadian, but a N.Y. Islanders fan since the mid 70's. Both Edmonton and Florida have some connections to my hometown, as Oilers assistant coach Paul Coffey and defenseman Darnell Nurse played some or all of their junior hockey here and Florida coach Paul Maurice is from my hometown, but I always want a team that's never won the Cup to win one, as Edmonton has already won 5 times, so while I can win close to 700 dollars with an Oilers win, I'd still be more than happy if the Panthers win, which I honestly think will happen. I really think Florida has to get a lead to boost their adrenaline/confidence and I believe they will right the ship and erase these past 3 games with their first ever Cup win. McDavid still wins the Conn Smythe, but Barkov hoists the Cup and hands it off to Ekblad in a wild scene. Best of luck to your beautiful dog, as they truly are unconditional love !!

I'm an oil fan, randomly youtube recommended me this channel (subbed, and I'm thankful, I enjoyed the few vids I went into), so obviously I'm rooting for my team tomorrow, but at the end of the day the best team will win, cliches and traditions don't matter that much.

Obviously, I want my boys to win tomorrow. But at the end of the day I say let the better team win. And at least I'm glad that if my team has to lose it'll be a team that wins their first cup, especially after losing it last year. The fact we pushed it to game 7 of the finals after hitting our first season milestone (American thanksgiving) as 2-9-1, when everyone was counting us out (shame I didn't place a bet back then, since odds were 50-1 for oilers to win the cup lol).
I just hope that even if Florida loses tomorrow that the fanbase won't abandon them, so they don't become an Arizona style poverty team again.

Hey Jaws, first off thank you for the update on Fluffy. On one hand, based on what I saw in the videos you included at the end of this particular video it looks like he still has great energy and he's engaged in things like barking at that other dog and doing the things like going to the bathroom, eating, etc. On the other hand, I'm sorry to hear that he still having problems with his back legs. Our cats had problems with their back paws towards the end of their lives so I completely understand what you're feeling there. For Fluffy, if the end is near for him let's make sure that he has the best last few days or weeks or months of his life. You and Kyle (and Karen too) are doing an awesome job at taking care of him and making sure he feels comfortable and has everything he needs. I know he appreciates it so much. You guys are the best dog owners ever. For that matter Fluffy is the best dog ever.
As for the Panthers, I 100% understand why it is that you felt the way you did after the Game 6 loss. I think all of us also felt that way. Believe me I had so many emotions going through me once the final horn sounded. I let loose some profanities which I don't normally do on CZcams. By the way, my deepest apologies for going off with F Bombs and other vulgarity. I'm not usually like that. If you or anyone felt uncomfortable with my profanities that I unleashed at the Panthers I do apologize. I will do my best not to behave that way for Game 7 tomorrow.
Speaking of Game 7, tomorrow is potentially the biggest moment in franchise history, and maybe even NHL history. We're looking at what could be the Most Watched Game 7 ever. I know I've said so many things for inspiration in the previous games of the series. For the inspirational quote for Game 7, I would like to recite a speech given by Tony D'Amato (played by Al Pacino) right before the big playoff game in the movie Any Given Sunday a.k.a one of fhe best sports movies ever and certainly one of my favorites. He said to the team:

Fluffy is as much of a Panther mascot as Roary and Viktor! St. Bernards are beautiful animals, but age hits them hard. Once they get to that 9-10 year range and they lose mobility it is heart breaking. I know how much you love your dog as he is family just like Kyle and Matthias. I lost my mother in April and it truly hurts to see family decline. We are all here for you and I look forward to your videos as it is the only thing that gives me calm during this last week.

SO TRUE! Kyle and I also have put on about 5-10 lbs of ice cream & donuts fat so I look forward to sitting with Fluffy all day just doing push ups ect knowing I wont be wasting my time because I am fixing to eat 5000 calories between 7-10 lol

Yeah, we had a Flat Coated that was 11.5, had lymphatic cancer for what the vet said must have been 2 years and he never showed any signs until the last day. One day he was healthy next day he was gone.
As a fellow pup owner I know what your going thru brother and all you can do is be there for him and make the best decisions for him you can, as an Edmontonian and Oiler fan we need that damn cup to fill that empty spot beside number five 😎 so let’s all enjoy this crazy next game and let the best team win!

Oilers fan here. I found your channel in the finals, and you guys are amazing fans. Let’s face it, whoever wins game 7 deserves the cup. I think the Panthers only hope is to hit the reset button and play game 7 like a Super Bowl game. Forget history, it’s irrelevant. The Panthers are NOT choking IMHO. But they have to play game 7 like their lives depend on it. If they do, that’s all you can ask.

Whoever wins this series doesn't change the fact that this series has been an emotional rollercoaster for both sides. As a Panthers fan, the last couple of games have been so painful to watch. For me, either way Panthers come out as a joke. Obviously I hope we win and we better, but the fact that we're going to game 7 is so sad. I feel like even though you've been through this before with dogs passing, I don't think it's ever easy to decide when to put a pet down. We went through that with my dog a couple years ago and we went through a couple weeks of "one more day, one more day" until she totally stopped eating. With all the other symptoms, that was like the final one that we were like, yea it's over and we aren't going to let her starve to death. So we made the call. Heartbreaking to say the absolute least. I'm still not over it. You know what the right call is for Fluffy and I'm sure if he got to a certain point, hockey or no hockey, you'd do what you needed for him. ❤

As a Bruins fan, I really don't want the Panthers to lose tonight because fans will have to live with it for the rest of your lives. I still think about Bucky Dent and Aaron Boone ending the Red Sox seasons. The Hockey Guy did a video on the 10 teams down 3-0 that forced a game 7. Four of those didn't complete the reverse sweep and no one gives them any credit for getting to a seventh game. If Florida wins, no one will remember them losing games 4-6.
Here's the problem for the Panthers: the Oilers look like they have figured out how to solve the forecheck and attack with speed. Florida needs to do better clogging things up. If they let McDavid, Draisaitl, Hyman, etc. get loose, it's over.

MN Wild fan here so I'm completely neutral... I truly believe after being up 3-0 the Cats probably celebrated in the locker room like they already had their name on the Cup. They got too relaxed and figured they would win 1 of the next few games and probably never imagined it would get pasts game 6 worst case scenario... idk just my thoughts.

As far as the panthers go hockey psychologies video on this series gives me little hope the panthers can pull this off. The oilers have found the perfect way to take the panthers game away & I’m not sure they have the time or talent to adjust their game to beat the oilers. Regardless of what happens it’s been a fun season, & thank you for giving us panther fans a community!

Only x factor for me is that this is the first elimination game for the Panthers since 5th game vs Vegas last year that they are up for elimination. The meltal bridge to clime to not be feared to be compared to something that hasn't been done since 1942 and by the Leafs is probably pretty big though. And as much as they would like not to think about that, they probably are. Now this is also the first time ever for this core of Edmonton having a chance to win.
It's a best of one series now. So we really don't know what will happen. If there is a multi-goal lead to either team, then probably it will boil over. But I have a feeling you have to cut someone's head off to get a penalty next game. Refs probably don't want to be blamed for blowing the iffy penalty that resulted in a Cup.

I think it was the third game in Edm, I was listening to Oilers radio broadcast, The Oilers were pouring it on, the place was going nuts, but the Cats hung on. Broadcaster Jack Michaels said Ekblad was a hero out there, he was a shot blocking machine. I wonder if some players might not be as committed to sacrificing their body, bc I guarantee the Oilers are. You won't see any flamingos in front of shots. Def Coach Coffey will know how Slats pounded that into them. Maybe Ekblad should have the C. (THAT wd shake the team up)
In Wayne Gretzky's book, during the Isles' Dynasty right after they beat the Oilers again for the cup, he went down to the Isles' room to congrats them and see the celly with the cup. He said that's the day he found out what it takes to win the cup. Guys had ice packs on, black eyes, blood, bruises, bandages, etc sitting in their stalls slugging champagne and tending to their wounds. I guess the theory is - they have all summer to heal up. I think that was '78 - '82 tho.
I am truly believe Panthers are the better TEAM. Even though they have not shown that the last 3 games. Besides Barkov, the stars (tkachuk, both Sam's and Carter) need to step up or else it's the oilers cup. Bob bailed Panthers out enough early in the playoffs. Let's get back to the Panthers dominance and high pressure.

My dog, Akita had suffered from the same symptoms. Purica recovery sa extra strength helped him for while. I am sure there are other supplements taking care of this problem. Many big dogs suffer from this. I suggest going to holistic vet and changing for raw organic diet full of glucosamine, etc, Wishing the best!
One of my first dogs was actually in Akita, he lived to be 15 and a half years old. I've had fluffy on a very expensive glucosamine supplements since birth so I suppose that's part of the reason why he's lasted this long, he had years and years a very rough and hard play at the river in the beach with his sisters and the fact that his hips held out this long is incredible. While I never went completely raw at least 3/4 of their diet the last several years has been chicken with occasional beef, some rice and kibble, no real treats that aren't made for dogs or anything like that. That said if you somehow makes it through this time we have spoken about going raw so we'll just have to see how it goes the rest of this week.
Losing a 4 legged family member is never easy, hope things progress as peacefully as possible.. After game 4 5 6 I'd have sworn it was 100% over and totally rigged to gouge fans for thousands of dollars. But rewatching highlights of the entire series the cats seemed to have turned a switch off after game 2. Not played cats hockey with or without the puck,making unforced errors and just playing sloppy. Game 7 is as pure of a clean slate as can be,let's see the real cats show back up and get it done. The crazy thing is the Oilers are playing the way the Panthers want to be. They turn offensive lapses by the panthers and turn them into breakout plays for themselves. Panthers need to turn this around and fight for this cup.

think about this: EDM: begin the season like 2-12-1 or something like that, then somehow go on a 16 game winning streak, fall to Van 3-2 series come back, then against DAL who beat Vegas/Col, DAL just cant play hockey anymore, and then fall behind 3-0 against FL, who steamed roll through the playoffs, all of a sudden forgot how to play hockey, and now EDM has just "figured it out" again: EDM a juggernaut PK at 94%, really? Skinner somehow becomes a super star goalie after the first 3 games of each series. cmon everyone wake up
Imagine calling it rigged because the oilers fought back from the dead all season. They came back from 31st in the league and rode that momentum to where they are. Cry harder.

I agree with you - the statistical odds of Edmonton coming back are so low, that they are practically impossible .... the only thing that makes sense is that its fixed..,, i mean, how does a juggernaut like the Cats all of a sudden forget how to play NHL level hockey and their goalie all of a sudden has a .781 Sv %, worse than AHL and some ECHL goalies - its just so beyond illogical

It's not the McDavid effect. Oilers have been getting good block shots on the blue line or cherry picking a forward they cause a rush time after time. I don't care who's in goal. They gonna make most of them. They figured out how to exploit some of the Forecheck of the Panthers. Anyways I expect a get game 7!
