Hello I just got an Asus g531 al007 laptop but I already have an issue concerning the lights. I have downloaded the Asus aura core software to change the behavior of the lights but the light bar around the edge turned off and I couldn't find a way to turn it on again. I think there is a pre installed software in it to manage the lights and I shouldn't have installed aura core. How can I fix it please ? And how do you normally manage this light bar ? Thanks in advance !

Is the g531 or g15 more recent? I am confused with the difference, and the touchpad design, I have seen g531 with the red numpad layout of the touchpad

When I dim the screen to the lowest possible brightness and I move the mouse (for example open the file explorer or any other app), then there is some flickering on the screen. Has anyone else faced this problem?

@@rohansaharan2837 go to the Intel graphics software and change 40hz to 60 hz and download GeForce experience from where you have to update your graphics driver ,and always play intensive game on charging because dedicated gpu need more power to perform in it's full potential ,and don't forget to undervolt ,never play games on battery it's may effect your laptop's life
@@techno-trickster636 no no I am not talking while playing games, this occurs on normal usage as well. Even after a fresh windows install with no app installed it happens. I thought I had some issues with the motherboard, got it changed but again the same issue.

Just got this laptop for myself. The thermal management system is just... amazing! Two fans for air outlet and one for inlet. There are three fan modes- silent, balanced, and turbo. Turbo mode is the one that's for gaming. The fans will roar but your machine will breathe just fine and stay cool.

Everywere I look for the asus rog strix g531gt-bq067t i see 60hz and not 120hz for the i5.
I only see the 120 hz on the rog strix G g351 with the i7 in it.

Get a workstation if you are into 3d modeling...This laptop is meant for gaming, for 2d CAD it will do fine though

I use strix G531 i7 9th gen with 16gb Ram and my experience tells that this laptop gives about 5 hrs of battery life approximately
when used at a low screen refresh rate of 48 hz and silent mode ,and if your device is set on 120 hz screen refresh rate youll definately fall short on battery so i prefer not to game when your device is not connected to charger.

@@rohansaharan2837 Gaming systems suck a lot of power in general. Gaming while connected only to the battery is not advisable because, the CPU and GPU will function in its fullest capacity which in turn needs more power to run. Battery backup won't be enough as time passes by, the current output from the battery reduces thus makes the FPS drop. And never play games without charger connected or it might lead to failure of some internal IC.

This laptop : bad screen design. i dont need to see the back of the laptop.The real window in downstairs of the screen, sucks. the light down of laptop sucks, this model not have webcam or sd entry. Users prefers separate headphones entry and sound out. Not NumPad on keyboard !!! XDXD
