Had an 1811 until a few months ago but some ignorant person had stolen it. At least I didn’t have very much into it. It was given to me last summer after setting in a shed for a few years. Had a 48” deck and hydraulics. Nicest mower I have had by far. Hope your project goes the way you would like.
Ok, I also noticed the 1811 has an oil light on the dash as well that the 782 doesn’t. Being that the dash is cracked I am probably going to just take the dash and engine out
If you really want to have a tuff machine take the axles and carrier out of the 1811 and put it in the 782 rear end if it's a true ih built 782 it has a cast iron rear end. Witch is much tougher than the aluminum in the 1811 but the 1811 has fine spline axles and a good 2 piece carrier
I'd love an operable 782

Thanks, not sure what I’m going to do with it once it’s done yet
@@PAFarms I hope you mow it. 😂 I will bet that it will be the nicest little mower for you.
I plowed many acres with our 966
What would be awesome is to put a twin cam from a 2011 cab cadet in her.
More like taking out a 282 and putting in a 310 🤠
I am watching this with great interest. I just picked up a Cub Cadet 1812 and like it very much so far.
Cheers!
Whipple
Thanks I will try to make a good series on it
Thanks for helping me get my red power fix this Sunday lol, always glad to see you post a video
You ve got a lot of red in your collection,, red fits on the upcoming rebuild. Thanks from Georgian Bay.
Very true, thanks
If you have any questions about anything get ahold of me. I collect and deal with theres 82 series tractors everyday.
Thanks, I just might have to.
@@PAFarms no problem
Nice video. You should sell the 986 and get a 966 or something different to play around with.
Thanks, yea I do get bored with stuff, always fun to get something different
Looks good 👍
Thanks, hope all is well
Would you get a 10
86 with a cab
Kohler magnum 18. Will bolt right in to that tractor. Have to use the 1811 wiring because it has electronic ignition instead of points

@@PAFarms yes the m18 has oil sentry protection as Kohler called it. All it is, is just a low oil light.
Have you considered putting the IH hood on the Cub and painting yellow parts red?
I think you said it had some kinda hydraulic lift? Swap it over too.
Didn’t consider that. Would have to paint the frame too

Good content.
