You knew there was going to be a problem with prismatic when they commented on they had to change the starter set of aspects because how hard it was for players to synergize with the original set. When you have diamond lance as one of 1st options as an improvement for synergy with non-stasis aspect, you got a problem.

If they really wanted to keep everything the same for class items then add fragments that can bridge the gap. For example. Facet of Endurance. Just made that up but buffs have a longer timer. All the other subclasses have buff timer boosters anyways. This would help titan a bunch cause then they could keep frost armor, restoration, woven mail or whatever for longer. And then make a prismatic version of offensive bulwark that makes any buff refreshable with melee kills. Also I think sol invictus would be huge if reworked to work with any ability or subclass damage. Like from scorch or jolt.

I think they should add the ability to make sun spots with Consecration. Specifically have it be when you kill an enemy with it will spawn a sunspot at the spot of where the enemy died and then it has like a 6-7 second cooldown. That would add healing potential and lean into the melee focus for prismatic Titan. Have it be like stylish executioner’s prismatic rework where any powered melee kill could activate that ability not just consecration itself.
It would allow things like Diamond Lance to have more serviceability to make up for the lack of immediate shatter and with enough of a cooldown you wouldn’t reach the season of Haunted level of sunspot abuse. It’s not strong enough to invalidate Banner of War strategy either.

Honestly. I’d love if they added on to some niche Titan exotics to support you and your team better. For example:
Actium war rig: In addition to its current effects, Blocking damage with your barricade will generate special and heavy ammo for you and your team depending on how much damage was blocked.
Loreley Splendor: precision kills grant your allies roaring flames. Increases roaring flames stack count to 5
Second chance: your shield can now return to you. (basically threaded spike) If you catch it, you have a few seconds to throw it again with a damage boost that will also make enemies volatile. Not throwing it agin will refund half of your melee energy.
Synthoceps: passively increased lunge. (PVE ONLY! YOU COULD HAVE DONE THAT SO EASILY BUNGIE)
Cuirass of the falling star: ballistic slam jolts targets and grants an overshield. Ballistic slam kills give super energy.
Hallowfire heart: kills while standing in a sunspot will generate a hammer of Sol. Allies who throw the hammer will receive a buff to solar weapons.
Helm of saint 14: Gain a second barricade charge. Your void abilities blind targets.
Ursa furiosa: Holding down the super button will convert sentinel shield into a giant barricade that can be shot through. (Has the same effects as sentinel shield)

The prismatic subclass is an amazing addition to Destiny 2. It combines the best aspects of both light and dark subclasses and allows you to live your wildest power fantasy. While this holds true to both Warlock and Hunter for some reason this power fantasy did not translate over to Titan. I find myself relying on solar or strand Titan to survive harder content. Prismatic Titan has completely lost its identity as the best melee class or defensive class. All “okay” builds really solely on knock out and consecration. We have no ability to go different avenues with the Titan power fantasy. So some much needed changes may need to happen soon to bring prismatic Titan up to par with its competition.
1.) add bastion Sheild to the aspect.
This will allow players to expand on what it means to be a defensive powerhouse.
2.) allow knockout to give you more health regen and melee regen on each power kill.
walk back the knockout nerf so it interacts with all exotics.
This will allow Titans to remain the melee power house.
3.) add fragments the give melee and grenade energy on weapon damage.
This will give titans another avenue to add to the melee power house fantasy
4.) add liars handshake and skullfort exotic perks to the new exotic titan class item.
This will further allow titans to be a power house and incentivize the player to not be afraid to get up close and personal with the prismatic subclass.
In conclusion we want Titans to be the best puchy Boi and Gal in the team but also allow to make some crazy defensive builds that will make them a must in the game. Someone at bungie should have raised a red flag when Hunters are able to do the Titan thing a whole lot better than titans.

Rework knockout to be like inertia override. Activates on elemental pickup, sliding over ammo, finisher or melee kill.(also becomes amplified) instead of the flat damage buff, give it melee AND arc (super damage type on prismatic) damage buffs, 20% in pve 7.5% in pvp and add melee regen on arc (super damage type on prismatic) kills. Remove the melee range buff, give full health on melee or super damage type kill in pve, half health on guardian kill. 10 second timer can be refreshed.
This fixes the nonexistent gameplay loop, survivability, backloads buffs to need a kill, or pickups which makes it far less problematic in pvp and doesn’t require melees to keep the buff active allowing for more ways to play.
Unbreakable is cool maybe have it refund grenade energy depending on damage delt, or maybe two grenade charges, simply because the current selection of nades have the longest cooldowns.
Add to consecration rapid ignitions grants cure, makes pairing with other aspects a viable possibility.
Add to diamond lance Frost Armor x5 on shatters.
OG shiver strike, make the prismatic nade a sticky nade, let thruster work with alpha lupi and khepris, buff throwing hammers, buff behemoth, buff Tcrash

  • @gibster9624
    @gibster9624 Před 21 dnem +5

My suggestion(s) involves a lot. First they need to sell more than 1 power fantasy. Void Titan being the Sentinel class used to be done perfectly. It used to be a brawler class that allowed you to keep teammates alive but it's so much harder to do that without using a gun like collective obligation. They need to shift to also being the Soldier class and the Engineer class. We are supposed to build things like walls but they aren't selling that fantasy well at all when most people just prefer to use Thruster.
Stasis. Either add or change the Stasis super. My Idea is give Titans a first person super. You gain frost armor as you take damage, converts your grenade into a diamond lance. Activating the super again unleashes a volley of stasis shards depending on how many stacks of frost armor you have can potentially do it 3 times for some big damage. They shards leave stasis crystals on the ground and can pair with Cadmus Ridge Lancecap where you create more crystals when freezing higher health enemies. This fulfills the soldier power fantasy quite well where you can use your guns and your grenades quite extensively. Titans also need to have bigger shatters or more damage on them. If Warlocks can have better restoration, devour, threadlings, and so one why doesn't Titan have better ignitions, shatter, suspend, or suppressions?
Strand. Either add or replace the super with Turrets. The fact they literally were going to give us a mini-gun and decided against it in favor of more punching is painful. Engineer power fantasy is about controlling the battlefield with barricades and turrets. Super can allow us to throw out 2 turrets that suspend enemies that are near it when deployed. The turrets can unravel enemies they shoot, and they connect with barricades allowing the user and allies to gain woven mail and periodically sends a pulse out like a lash that pulls enemies if they are between the barricade and turrets.
Actium War Rig. Allow the user to throw grenades without having the animation stop the user from firing their weapon. So imagine you are just spraying a hose of lead and you don't have to stop just to throw a grenade, you can do both. Then have it where hip firing and doing damage regenerates grenade energy with auto's and machine guns somewhat similar to Thread of Generation does for Strand.
Arc Exotic that brings the storm grenade build back but in a lesser form. Require the grenades to do damage to get the regen so it's still good in pve but not overly oppressive in pvp. Puts thundercrash on a lower cooldown but lowers the damage. But it'll drop multiple storm clouds at once. And jolting reduces the cooldown further. This would make Tcrash be more like a normal ability while still recognizing it's still a super, Swapping exotics creates a penalty on the new exotic where it gives none of the cooldown bonuses until the super is fully charged again. This gives two playstyles of being like an artillery unit while having some incentive to get up close and in the fray. you lose the burstiness of the class but gain more sustainability.
I completely disagree on the Axes. They do some insane damage and the damage comes off quick enough I think we are totally fine with the class item buff from star-eaters. As far as aspects goes, Do whatever nerfs are necessary but for the love of god add more 3.0 verbs to Titan aspects and allow for more synergies using what makes the classes unique. Offensive bullwark would pair pretty well with Touch of Thunder where you have even more grenade regen so long as you have an overshield. Overshield also needs a buff. It's just way to easy to lose an overshield in high end content. Either give more ways to gain an overshield or make overshield last longer through varies methods.

I think more thana "rework" it needs more synergies with the existing abilities.
For example, hunter gets the stylish executioner for defeating ANY DEBUFFED enemy, doesnt matter if its scorch or anything else, so you can slap something as forgotten as the skyburners oath and make it work
Why not do the same with diamond lance, cant spawn them unless im playing stasis guns? why do i have to play my class as if it was 100% stasis (and in that case, i will just play stasis ) and not make it synergize with other types of debuff? Id only swap the shield throw for " shield bash" and the hammer strike for the baby hammer and it would change a lot of things. Allow me to undust exotics and make it synergize with my fragments and my thruster ( imagine khepris horn also working with thruster and then slapping drengers lash to make a suspending scorch bomb).
While i do believe its somewhat lackluster, the only rework Id do are the exotic class item perks for titan.( like, why tf do i need invisibility on titan Bungie?)
Seriously, star eater scales + Cuirass of falling star would slap SO EFFING HARD on titan and make it worth the grind.

So, technically we had a yearworth of only melee builds if we were to take into account that every year has 4 season that usually give 1 exotic armor piece. Meanwhile, we only have 3 centered granades exotics: armamentatium, ashen wakr and (debatable) path of bourning steps.

Glaive super needs to be faster or modifiable to where you can run and cast it and it would be like a jab with a spear then throws.

It had taken me a bit, but I did manage to beat every Legendary Difficulty campaign with Stasis Titan thus far, including Final Shape. I still stand by that Ice Titan has improved overall, but it's still not as good as Prismatic or Void, let alone Solar and Strand. As for what I ran, I ran with an Armamentarium Build, relying on just Fragments and Orbs for my Grenade uptime. It works much better than pre-Final Shape, but I am betting any other class can do better with Armament than Ice Titan.

I dont think replacing fragments is a good idea.
I think reworking them on their respective subclasses would help.
What classes have the highest survivability and ability uptime in the game as well as the highest damage potential?
    So the good ones first.
Solar: Easily proc a quick burst of healing(cure, bonk hammer), a damage buff(radiant), and if the hit kills a target with your ability (or after applying scorch) a sunspot will spawn (consecration), proccing restoration instantaneously if you're on the target getting killed by melee.
Void: Killing targets with a skill or grenade will cause them to become volatile (titan volatile aspect I can never remember the name of) and if those volatile targets explode near other targets, it will make those targets volatile, causing a chain reaction, each explosion also heals you for a chunk of health, and if those targets die, devour will grant you a massive chunk of grenade energy and heal you a chunk as well, you are also able to weaken targets with grenades, adding further ease to the volatile/decour kit. (Continued in replies.)

    • @sharcblazer99
      @sharcblazer99 Před 8 dny

Strand: Kill a target with melee (or a sword) and you will pulse heals and a slight damage buff in a radius around you that becomes stronger the more you (or allies) kill while it is active (banner of war), breaking a tangle will deal significant damage in an AOE and grant allies in the AOE Woven mail for a large damage resistance buff that will be refreshed as long as they are in the aoe pulses of the broken tangle.
Now for the ones that are lackluster and suck.
Prismatic: Synergies are non-existent unless you factor in consecration and knockout, the only two good aspects on prismatic titan, limiting build options when the perceived point of the subclass was to allow freedom and super varied setups.
Stasis: Damage and survivability are completely impossible with this subclass, you will die and you will never have your abilities because you cannot make enough ice crystals to sustain frost armor, your skills, or a damage buff for long enough to matter.
Arc: Lacking in survivability, high risk, low payoff, supers don't do enough damage, skills aren't able to be refreshed quickly enough to matter.

If Bungie takes out consetration I think it would make Titan worse bc who can say no to 100k+ ignitions almost always!
But if they take out the void one and swap it with Controlled Demo they can switch it up by extending Overshields, restoration, woven mail, etc by defeating targets affected by sever, unravel, scorch, weaken, etc
now with Strand they should add banner of war because it would create more survivability and buff melees and if they add Wishful Ignorance to Class Items Banner would be very useful and more liable.
I did see on a Twid that they are talking about the Void and Strand ones (swapping)
but yet again I do believe taking consetration out would be bad for Titans due to its snyergy with Pyrogale on Prismatic and the ignition fragment, etc

consecration with the triple melee charges and synthos is the only time i have ever had fun on prismatic titan. its not even that good 90% of the time when you cant get into melee range, for hard content anyways.

Replace dregners lash with banner and unbreakable with bastion

Bonk hammer is trash now. Doesn't 1 hit a red bar. And everything got dodge buff against it

    Its not just prismatic.
All titan sub classes are trash now.
    Switched to alt character

The biggest issue for Titan is they’re fun, but they just suck. They’ve been toted around as “the best pvp class” and the “melee class” while they haven’t been the best in either for a while, Titan only shines in crucible after they get a useful exotic buff.. which gets nerfed two weeks later because it’s the only option Titans have if they don’t wanna spend 30 minutes setting up mods to do half of what warlock and hunter can do with a single exotic, they’ve just been left behind and will continue to be so, because bungie is way too far in to do a meaningful rework for the class, not to mention the obvious “well where’s the hunter/warlock rework” that will inevitably split the community. Sadly there’s really not much they can do, and they probably won’t do much because they’re already making d3.

The point of this vid is good, these changes are bad suggestions imo. Unbreakable is useless without controlled demo, so if we dont have one, get rid of the other. Knockout is almost a good aspect. Make the heal happen on kills while amplified. Diamond lance is arguably the best whing we have on prismatic outside of consecration. But sol invictus would be the best swap to immideately help outside of banner of war, but bungie is too scared of that.

Just give it pre nerfed BOW cause the class been ruined with the unreasonable PVP related nerfs.

Maybe not necessarily bad, moreso bland and aimless

its best build is concertation which is useless 90% of the time since most hard content punishes you for getting into melee range.

Juggernaut on prismatic but it gains effects from drengrs, khepris, and hoarfrost because it consumes class ability when broken
