April 29, 1975 - Henri Richard scores the last goal of his NHL career It was scored against Roger Crozier in Game 2 of the Semi-Final series against the Buffalo Sabres
I was fortunate to meet a gentleman from my city who won a cup with Henri in 1965, not going to lie, I had goosebumps when he showed me his ring. Not only that, Beliveau was the captain of that team.
The Pocket Rocket. 11 time Stanley Cup champion. One of the all time greats and a true gentleman. But the spring of 1975 would be his last go around and he would retire just as the Habs were on the cusp of yet another Stanley Cup dynasty ('76-'79). The '75 Canadians were stacked and all the pieces were there; Bowman behind the bench, Lafleur, Savard, Lapointe, Cournoyer, Dryden, Shutt, Robinson and on and on. But the Buffalo Sabres did what the Bruins and Flyers could never do- beat Montreal in the playoffs.

The shot from Shutt on Crozier looks painful knowing how crappy the goalie equipment must've been back then.
nice save so close in
i played in a fundraiser in 1995 in sudbury and got to meet him and chat after the game, an absolute gentleman and a class act all the way.

If I recall, Ken Dryden was not part of that 1974-1975 Canadiens' edition, didn't play at all that year, worked as a lawyer
Season before.
The guy never back up before anyone.
