I’m an 8 handicap. Play a lot of tight courses. Bought a Hi-Fl 2 iron last month. I play it on every par 4 less than 380yds. Hit it dead straight 230. Many more scoring opportunities with this club.

I have the 4 iron fly-hi and can consistently hit it 200 with enough top spin to add 20 yards. Great club

Did you feel like the steelfiber shaft held up. Its quite high torque even in the 90g. Was it an x flex?

How would the 3 Flihi compare to the 225 3 iron?, they are the same loft. I have the 225s 4-PW. Looking to fill the gap between irons and woods. (10 driver and 15 wood). Either a 3 iron 225 or Flihi 3 iron. Cheers

What kind of shaft typically goes in a driving iron ? Iron, hybrid or wood

this particular club has a .370 hosel bore so it was be a hybrid shaft.

Ian uses a 120 gram 3 iron shaft in his Ping iCrossover iron. Allows him to keep the feel of an iron

@@windmillgolfcenter Ian has a shim in his PING to accept .355 shafts (common practice), but the hosel inside diameter of the PING Crosssover and the Fli-Hi both have .370 "Hybrid" shaft hosels.
