The Arya were central Asian Steppe pastoralists who arrived in India between roughly 2000 BCE and 1500 BCE, and brought Indo-European languages and religion to the subcontinent. Aryans were foreign invaders who invaded India. They replaced the local religions and gods of the Indian subcontinent with their gods and religion.
Aryans were responsible for genocide and mass rape of the local population. Much of this Steppe ancestry is male, the research shows. This means that Steppe migrants “were more successful at competing for local mates than men from the local groups” - which tells us something about the aggressive nature of Indo-Aryan migration into India. The Science paper concludes that there was an “asymmetric social interaction between descendants of Steppe pastoralists and peoples of the Indus Periphery Cline [Indus Valley Civilisation]”.
In simpler language, David Reich explains that the preponderence of male Steppe DNA means that this encounter between the Steppe pastoralists and the people of the Indus Valley Civilisation “cannot have been entirely friendly”.
This male bias is standard for Indo-European migration. Steppe migrants almost completely displaced local males in a short time span, leading to one Danish archeologist postulating that the coming of these Indo-European speakers “must have been a kind of genocide”.
This pattern, wrote David Reich in his 2018 book Who We Are and How We Got Here, “is exactly what one would expect from an Indo-European-speaking people taking the reins of political and social power 4,000 years ago and mixing with the local peoples in a stratified society, with males from the groups in power having more success in finding mates than those from the disenfranchised groups”.

@@jajaja7394 then read history properly.. saying Sikhs didn't have any majour war with Mughals is a big fat lie.. Sikhs had pretty direct conflicts with Shah Jahan, Aurangzeb (even if not as direct as Marathas) he kept his governers of states on a duty to fight Sikhs, Bahadur Shah, Shah Alam ll (even though he was under maratha protection).. Shah Jahan kept sending generals and governers against Sikhs ex: battle of lahira, Amritsar, rohilla, Kartarpur , Aurangzeb kept sending his generals and governers, especially Wazir Khan the governer of sirhind with armies to fight Sikhs even after being in a 27 year long war with Marathas.. Aurangzeb saw Sikhs as such a threat that he befriended rajputs, hill rajas to put them with his force of north india (governers and generals) to work against Sikhs while also fighting Marathas in the war of 27 years.. an example: Battle of Chamkaur, where Aurangzeb sent lakhs if not a million under governer of sirhind Wazir Khan and other governers had also pooled their army, rajputs and hill rajas had pooled their armies too and it persued Sikhs till the battle happened where 40 Sikhs gave a blow to the army by causing them casualties in thousands and thousands and Mughals couldn't accomplish what they wanted to.. no doubt that Marathas became the biggest reason for mughal downfall (neglecting invadors).. but Sikhs defeated Mughals in majour battles before Marathas.. and Sikhs were the reason of mughal downfall in north india, Sikhs being in minority established the first Sikh raj by removing mughal power from Punjab to Delhi.. Sikhs were the ones to rule over delhi before Marathas, and all this after defeating Bahadur Shah and his governers in battles one after another, ex: battle of rahon, ambala, chappar chiri, sirhind, sonipat, lohgarh.. Shah Alam ll even sent an army bigger than 100,000 to defeat Sikhs where Sikhs (who were almost half of that army) defeated him.. 06:55 Historical error there. Hinduism did not originate from Buddhism, it's the other way round. Hinduism is a continuous sect since before recorded history. Aryans followed Sanatan Dharma which was early form of hinduism. In 3rd Century BC, Buddha was born to a hindu king in Nepal and his followers became buddhist. For many centuries both Hinduism and Buddhism ran parallel and equally prevelant until Hinduism gained prominance again in 9th century AD following the work of a saint Adiguru Shankaracharya.

Well presented. As you mentioned, not easy to cover all the history in such short time. But you did a really commendable job. Just a few points I would like to highlight:
    1) Hinduism precedes Buddhism. Buddhism never transformed into Hinduism. Buddha (Siddhartha) himself was born in a Hindu aristrocatic family.
    2) It was anything but out of sympathy that India was declared independent.
    3) While Gandhi is more popular, the greatest architect of India’s independence is Bose. In such short time I understand its not possible to mention everything and everyone but Bose is as important as Gandhi. May be more, but definitely not less.
