Mitch records under the stage name Messer. Roses is my favorite track of his.
He performed this from his rooftop during the COVID lockdowns. He also is the one playing the piano. For his individual music he goes by Messer. He just released some new songs. Looking forward to you checking out some of his songs. His first album is my favorite so far.

Mitch's voice moves me so much. It's heartbreakingly beautiful isn't it? For his solo music he goes by Messer. It's very different to this but awesome in a different way. This was filmed during lockdown on his roof. He also did the piano arrangement and played it for this cover. Multi-talented, like all the memebers of PTX.

There is plenty of Mitch solo work under the name "Messer" as others have mentioned. He has an EP, "Roses" which includes, "Angels Pray," "Machine," "Boy in the Pictures," "Gasoline Tears," and the eponymous "Roses," as well as 6 single releases "Love Supply," "Leather," "Oblivion," "Agony," "Velvet," and "Halfway." His vibe is sort of retro 80's EDM, but is also timeless and very, very Mitch. The gorgeous "Halfway," has a sort of Enya feel to it. I also really love the collaboration he did as Messer with Jimmy Edgar, called "Ready2Die." The Messer solo project has almost a subversive feel to it, like Messer is the side of Mitch that Pentatonix leaves out, like he's being authentic in Pentatonix, but it's only a part of who he is, and he's putting the rest out there and letting his audience find him.

I sometimes wonder if this was his "proof of concept" for the Prayer, his demonstration that his voice would work in the Celine Dion part. The clarity and poignance is amazing. Note that all members of Pentatonix live in LA or the LA area, so that's what I think you're seeing.
❤❤❤. On the roof where he lived and filmed during covid. Amazing. All of them have solo works. I believe they originally decided could do individual stuff but PTX would come first. Mitch has most solo stuff under Messer. Matt does Christian music. Scott has songs like Parallel and Mars. Kevin has his own channel. I adore Kevin’s solo cover of Marian Hill’s Down. And Kirstie does as well. Avi’a solo stuff is fantastic. PTX awesome

There is nothing better than Mitch’s voice 💜. His solo work as Messer is VERY DIFFERENT than PTX, but I LOVE IT!!! My favorites are Angels Pray, Love Supply, Agony and Halfway.

Angel's Pray is my favorite of his, but honestly every time he opens his mouth to sing, it's incredibly beautiful.

I think Halfway and Angels Pray are my two favourites from Mitch as Messer. But usually my favourite is whichever Messer track I'm listening to right now! But Halfway is his most recent and is beautiful. He wrote it and co-produced it.

I was totally unfamiliar with this song until I heard this by Mitch. It’s delicate and haunting in a particularly accusatory way. So, yeah, I loved it and I’m glad you did too. As others have said, Mitch releases his solo music under the name Messer. It’s his own artistic vision, very different from PTX and Superfruit. Machine might be a good introductory song to listen to. Well, well a dreary horrible hour and a Monday, could anything make it brighten up a bit? Yes, this masterpiece! I love this. Mitch is his at his best here. Just when you think he can't surprise us anymore he does this, literally one of my favorite upgrades. 😊 Always appreciate the work you put into the video and commentary.

This is Scott's plan in action. Each member has their own side projects. They completed their first 10-year plan and now working on the next 10-year plan. They are family and will remain friends for life. Each have their own family. Kevin has a wife and daughter. Matt got married last January. Kirstin has Ben and their daughter. Scott's wedding was a few months ago. Kirstin is definitely not getting the 10-12 hours of sleep like in the beginning. "Can't Hold Us" Kirstin talks about Broadway because she was in "Kinky Boots" and Avi was Outdoors while Kevin's opening in the Church.
Mitch finnally worked on his own Individual creations with Messner due to the pandemic. Scott learned editing process and of course they put out an album during the pandemic. They recorded themselves at their home, The song "Home" has every song 🎵 with that word and shows their home.
Kevin has his own channel and a podcast with his brother.
They record separately at different times and locations. Kevin bragged when he found a recording spot on tour with his fluent Mandarin language. They will still put out songs and albums when the touring slows down. Scott and Kevin are the energy that is positive attitude and ùplifting us all. Scott released 2 videos "Mars" first, then another that is the name of the album he put out this summer.
Pentatonix would not exist without Kevin. He is very religious and observes the Sabbath so PTX never performs or expects him on his day. Built on Honesty, Respect and ❤️ Love.
Scott could have gone solo but he wanted his 2 besties along for the ride.
Çhevk out all their projects. This is a large rabbit hole. They live online. All 5 at Kevin's traditional African wedding. All 5 at Matt's wedding and all 5 at Scott's.
Pentatonix has become more than Scott's ðream. But he is also setting each one up for a successful life. ⁰

Thank you for doing this.. it's such a heartbreaking topic and the way he's singing it puts me in a trance, no other voice ever hit me that way. I hope you'll react to his solo stuff under the name Messer, it's very different, but really amazing. Each song is great, I think my favs would be Agony and Gasoline tears, but they're all profound and really interesting.
