A couple little facts for you if you didn't know them. Mitch was styled and the video was shot by his friend Austin, who is his artistic collaborator on his Messer project. The background music is a recording of himself playing piano.

Lol, I think I’m going to love all of your Mitch reactions. That voice - that magical, mystical, magnificent voice of his - added to the lovely, warm, forthright and thoughtful person he seems to be makes him special to a whole bunch of people for a lot of different reasons. He has released solo music under the name Messer. The song called Machine is probably a good entry point, but all of his songs kind of reveal his own take on art. (Try Leather for something completely different.) The PTX songs Anchor and Never Gonna Cry Again were co-written by Mitch and are particular favorites of mine. One note about fashion. “Mitch is Ministry” 😇. He is my favorite voice for sure. I believe God gave Mitch extraordinary talent, and thankfully Mitch ran with it and continues to perfect and grow and create. I also suggest you check out Mitch’s solo project (alter ego) Messer. The vibe is nothing like PTX. I suggest you start with Love Supply, Angels Pray and Machine. He has four recent songs that are amazing. The visuals that he uses for videos are sometimes difficult to interpret.

This is such a haunting song, and billies version was Amazing but mitchells version was powerful. Many reactors once they get past mitch's incredible vocals they start hearing the words. Mitch has more than Just v That amazing once in a generation voice. His other superpowers is one. He can pronounce clearly. Every single word you actually understand And there's more than 1 person That has said that they have heard some song their entire life and did not know what it said until my mitch sang it. His other superpower is more than any other pentatonix member he has the ability to draw out the emotion of his audience. If you watch reactions, then you will see almost every single time Mitch opens his mouth and starts to sing. That's the one they respond to, either by starting to cry or melt. So when you listen to the lyrics, there's quite a few reactors that starts getting pretty misty eyed at the end because it's a very serious topic. definitely a very underreported topic. And yes I know mitch does wear a lot of oversized clothes. I don't know if it's uncomfortable with his body or that's just his style. I have my own ideas on that. But without Mitch to confirm or deny anything publicly then I won't say what I think that is but to say I wonder how close these lyrics are to mitch, Because it seems to me he really understood it
