Emmy did beautiful! She looked stunning and her voice sounded so vulnerable but still strong. She seemed less nervous and more comfortable. Both ladies did great tonight. I also really love Julia, she has a huge range and amazing control. Also, this was a wonderful song choice by Emmy, very smart!

She is pitchy, trying to hard to do some of the whispery techniques that can be popular. Honestly - nice singer but not great.

I feel like her confidence will be the end of the road eventually on this show for her, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t something extremely unique about her tone and aesthetic. I’ve said it over and over that she’s not a talent show type of performer but she’s definitely an artist in her own right. This had beautiful moments tonight but a bit shaky still.
I didn’t think it was a good performance but normally she does great. She wouldn’t have been top 5 anyway

I like to not feel nervous when someone sings..like they are fully in control..she always has you feeling like she can’t do it and it interferes with enjoying her artistry

This wasn't my favorite from her, but she still did a really great job with the song. There were a lot of parts that I loved in the song. She is really special, and deserves to be in the top 5 or even the finale.

This girl is so timid and sweet (“adorable” has been used a lot in the comments), you can tell the judges are just trying so hard to encourage her.
She’s got talent but that was the wrong song. It swallowed her up. I don’t know how much longer she’ll last.
even Elvis got No's. Emmy is in her time to be what God has given her to be. This show doesn't draw the line in her future, she will be another Willie Nelson, Andrea Bocelli, and so on of the song writers for so many and then to sing her own. 😉
She has a unique voice and it can’t hit some of the notes but she could have made it her own.

I love the tones in her voice but she shouldn’t be this far up in AI . She’s not experienced enough she’s way too nervous on stage it made me nervous watching her . She needs to spend about 1-2 years getting herself out there getting confidence up not get by cuz she’s LL Grand Daughter. There are better talented singers on AI she shouldn’t win . Or even be top 3 .

I think she is "ok" nothing wrong with her singing...but I think she get's more attention because of who her grandmother is.
She still seems nervous and not knowing how to work the stage. Her voice is lovely. If she would just open up and use her full voice. I think she would have a chance.

Loretta is a legend, but I believe that she has taught you everything it is you need to know to succeed in life and be happy...You have not only the artistic genes, but the intelligence to back it! She did an excellent job but after hearing James Arthur sing this several years ago, honestly nothing comes close.
