My husband hasn’t been watching idol at all this year. I was sitting there watching a video on CZcams of Emmy and he said, “That’s the voice of a star.” He had no idea who she was or that she was Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter. All he knew was her voice.

Aw, how is that comment respectful? Clearly America voted for her and not those who are no longer in it. That, literally, means more people who voted chose her, which means she deserves it. It doesn't mean the others didn't, but they didn't connect with the audience and that's a huge part of being an artist. She does.

Whaaaat...... how the fudge is Emmy in......it's really upsetting, her level of vocals compared to several voted off is absolutely unmatched. She has a babyish tone and not much variety in her tone. I've been following idols since season 1 and this is one of the most irritating decisions. I mean compared to Roman, Jayna, Ziggy, Nya and so many from top 24....hmmmmm I'm seeing a pattern here......nah it's ridiculous. Maybe something to do with who her grandma was.....mxm. She is NOT as unique as others before her

Emmy gets a lot of criticism on here. While I agree she is vocally the weakest of the remaining girls, this performance was definitely one of her strongest and she had better command of the song than her previous performances
