Dyson loud noise fix

how to fix your Dyson from making a howling noise when switching on/off the hover.

THANK YOU!! Found a DC40 at a thrift shop for $25 and heard this noise when trying it at the shop but kept my fingers crossed that it was fixable, either easily by me or by a vac repair person. This was so helpful. I appreciate the clear video! The dog was adorable, too!

Worked for me on my dyson mini ball. Saw other videos saying you might need a new filter or possible motor failure, but thanks to your great advice, unnecessary cost avoided 👍🏼

That noise SERIOUSLY exceeds WorkSafe noise levels and you will get hearing damage. Just inspected a ladies vacuum provided by a store client of hers and it SCREAMS BANSHEE.
