Dyson seriously needs to pay you for this video content! Their directions suck so bad they were non existent!!! I learned everything from this video than anything from Dyson! Thank you so much for the is tutorial! Nothing in the box talks about filters and how to clean them!
Please make a video on the complete disassembly of the entire brush head unit, not just taking out the brush bar. It gets very dirty in there and needs to be disassembled to be properly cleaned.
Hi did u every find a video to do this as would be a great help as I’ve looked and can’t find a video to clean this bit thanks
Don't think you can do this. It's all made out of plastic so a good soak should do the trick
@@BT3993 you sure, the grey part feels like a motor and gears when you turn it
@Smidday1 the grey part comes off. The head/bottom part only some of it comes out
You did a clear and thorough walk-through of how to maintain the Dyson Ball Animal 3 vacuum! Thank you!
Thank you, I needed to clean brush and cover. Yours was the only video showing how to access it. Really appreciate your step by step thoroughness.
Great informative video. Everything was clear. Im looking to get this vacuum but wanted to see what maintenance was like. Thank you!
Great Vid-more informative than the Dyson (tiny-) manual that came with it. Brush stopped working-removed, cleaned out and now working again, Thanks v. much!
This helped me fix the problem of the brush roll stalling out constantly. Thank you!
OUTSTANDING video! Thank You! Walked me right thru the whole process in an easy to grasp manner. 😊
Thank you so much. My brush was making so much noise. I actually had a small screw and a zipper pull stuck in there. Works great now!
Happy I could help!
I have been using my new Dyson Ball Animal 3 for only a short time and this morning I inadvertently sucked up a small plush cat toy. I was worried I had caused irreversible damage, but your video showed me where the likely problem was and how to tackle it. It's back to working wonderfully! Thanks so much for this informative video!
Thank you so much for this video! Even though, I perfer bagged vacuum cleaners over bagless because I feel bagged is a bit easier to maintain. This was still helpful, thank you again!
You would probably really like the Oreck, I recently refurbished mine. In fact, I refurbished both my Dyson and my Oreck after destroying both of them.
I just got a bissell PowerForce bagged 1739 on Monday 3-13-23. so far im impressed for what it is! I still feel like my other machines clean a bit better but for around $60 I can't complain. I have a 20pk of clean fairy HEAPA bags coming for it! I like it so far 🙂
Thank you for explaining all of this. Great video.
Clearly demonstrated and well explained. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
@@IntellitechStudiosit really was helpful
Thank you so much! My dyson had something stuck in it for weeks and I just gave up and stopped using it lol. Now I actually got what was stuck and cleaned it! 😊
Glad I could help!
Thank you so much for this tutorial ! You just helped my Dyson ! Have a fantastic day !:)
Thanks. I found a dog bone stuck at the very bottom of my hose. Now it works great!
Good instructions and instructor!! Thank you!!
Thank you thank you! I live rural so no one to repair vacuums. I found out how to use and maintain my vacuum plus replace a filter
Thank you for a very thorough explanation and demonstration of how to maintain my Dyson Animal 3. Too bad the manufacturers aren't as informative and clear in their instructions.
thank you soo much for this video, you’re a lifesaver!!
Great Video. Trying to get the top part off was hard at first (as didn't want to break it 😅. Thanks 👍🏾
You are amazing. Found my clog. Thank you so much ❤
Happy to help!
Very informative, thank you!
Thank you! Very helpful.
Thanks for the help!
I bought this Dyson animal 3 about 9 months ago....... I like it but I'm not crazy about the way the pull-out wand is designed.. i like the older version of the pull-out like the Dyson dc25.....
You've just saved me from buying a new hoover, thank you
Great video! Thanks!!
Thank you! Glad I can help
I do not have a Dyson but I shall watch any way.
I welcome your viewership!
helpful video. thank you
Great video
This video helped...you're doin' God's work! Thank you :)
Happy to help!
Thank you
Yes
Good Job
Around timeline 16 min when you take the head tube out - can you also show how to open the roller that sits on the inside of the head tube ? Is there a way to clean that head so the transparent plastic is thoroughly clear
Do you know how to take apart the head fully so I can clean the top plastic of the head
Thank you!!!
How do you clean out by the little teeth in the roller head? That sucks up everything
Hi. With the brush head and the gray part the stays in there, on the opposite clear side there is a bunch of stuff stuck there and cannot get out. How can you reach that part???
Where can I find the seal that is about halfway up the unit that the canister seals to? It’s supposed to just mount up against it but somehow my wife got it all crinkled up and now it is not sealing.
It’s the gasket at 8:05
What the heck...my brush head is gold not blue and it doesn't seem to be antitangle. Was this an add-on option I missed?
I had a big spring pop out of the floor head. It seems to work without it but im sure it is necessary for something. Anyone have any Idea?
You didnt go over the attachments but everything else was great 😄
Well I needed to clean roller head
And ironically had a clog look at that all in one video 🤣
Do you have any tips for this vacuum not reclining? There is nothing blocking it, but it no longer will recline.
Same thing for me. Can’t find anything online about how to fix the issue yet I’ve seen many posts from people with the same issue!
@@DomD__THFC I had to send it in to the company for the fix. Still would be easier to just know how to fix it
How can you clean the clear part where the roller is on the power head. My husband put so much of the powder scented carpet stuff down.. and it’s stuck in that part. It’s definitely ruined my carpet cleaner I think too.
I would like to know too!!
Where did you get the cleaner head with the plus and minus symbols, and without the suction gates under the front of the head?
It's the Easy Push Cleaner Head, I did a video on it previously
I actually was looking for how to clean the whole of the inside of the head, where the teeth are, does the roller come out, the whole roller i mean.
Not that I could see, I just needed to do that cause mine sucked up something wet and icky and it does not seem to come apart. So I've sprayed cleaner into those channels, waited and sprayed water into those channels till it seems as clean as possible and now I'm going to let it dry for a few days while the filter drys. I know the head has electrical wires, etc in it so I want to make sure the head is fully dry before reattaching.
I seem to have accumulated a large amount of dust inside the screen/shroud part of the cyclone. I've only used itb3 times and it's never been close to the max line. How can I get it out without washing it?
Air compressor works wonders
Do you know how to take the other side of the ball off? Not the filter side but the other?? I had a mouse crawl in there and die, so i cannot run it until i remove it and clean it. Otherwise, my whole house is filled with that terrible, terrible dead rodent smell. 😢
I'm having a problem with the brush power head falling off occasionally during normal use. Have you heard of this? I don't have a Dyson service center in my area, so not sure how to resolve.
There's a red tab underneath that clicks the head into place, if it's not clicked in all the way the head may fall off. If you wiggle it it should click into place
The red tab is locked in place and the head seems secure each time we put it back on. It still falls off occasionally with normal use (not when the vacuum is upright, but when it is being pushed and pulled in normal vacuuming motion). I reported the problem on the Dyson website but haven’t received a reply.
I need to clean the clear screen after you pulled the brush roller out but I can’t figure out how. Something got wet on the inside and I want to clean the clean part so it doesn’t grow mold.
A damn cloth or disinfectant wipe should work just fine to wipe off that window
But how? The brush roller comes out but it leaves behind the grey piece that doesn’t come out of the clear screen. (The bottom of the vacuum where is sucks). I need to clean the inside of where the brush roller is but I cannot get a washcloth or anything in there.
Same
@@taylorbaker4062hey did you ever figure this out? I'm having this problem now
So how do you switch the vacuum from the wand to the floor head?
It does it automatically when you recline the machine
Hi, so I have dirt/dust in the area you were cleaning with the wipes - how do I get that out? Thanks!
Use the wipes, and scrub it, it should all, come off
@Intellitech Studios it's in there pretty good, and I tried, but thanks for the reply 😊
@GlamMa 68' you can wash it but let dry for 24 hrs
At least they fixed the roller brush compared to the 2, now if they would fix the wand... the metal tube sits inside the dirty hose.... no thanks!
Anyone have the clear tape around the purple roller start peeling?
Noticed mines starting to peel not even 6 mths old with minimal use 😡
Clear tape? There shouldnt be any tape on the brushroll
Huge design flaw at 16:00 you can't take apart the head where dirt and grime get embedded between the motorized cylinder and the plastic inner part where the teeth are located. Not good.
You can put a rag in between te two areas and wipe it down
@@IntellitechStudios
Can u take the head apart to clean the clear plastic part
Is this good for tile floors? Thanks
Yes
Yes, use the line setting. Stop the spin of the brush roller. The suction is strong enough and you don't need to wear the brush out.
I find my animal3 hard to push on all three cleaner head settings. This is on low carpet..
Contact Dyson. When I complained about mine being hard to push they sent me what's called the "easy push" cleaner head. That should fix your issue. They should ship it to you for free
I did contact Dyson about this.. they had me do a live demonstration to prove it. They told me to take it to a repair center of which I refused as I told them this is not my first Dyson and if I did it would sit there for who knows how long. I told them it was a design flaw. They then told me they would send me a new head but at the moment there’s none in stock. How long am I going to wait on that.. I’ll keep calling and writing them..
@@garygangster2414 that's odd. I do know that I got mine from my local Dyson Service Center, not Dyson Corporate. If you go on dysons website you can look up your nearest service center and give them a ring and see if that gets better results
Wth is rocket surgery
Need to clean the teeth in there
if it deoes not work put it in the trash
A lot of people unfortunately do that
Damn! You have to be an engineer in order to clean the thing. We are a Hoover family, generation after generation. I wanted to know what all the hype is for over Dyson. That machine is complicated (and ugly).
a little upset i didnt look at the brush replacments, you have to buy a whole new head that comes with a new brush bar. on my dc65 i can buy a new brush for 18 bucks new, the animal 3 UC30 i have to buy the head which is over 100 dollars. buyers beware!
That bloody part will not come off
What part?
@@IntellitechStudios the same part you were trying to pull off!
