2:20 Jesus, that was extremely impressive.
Tackett is the man!!
100% textbook. IMO that's the prettiest split to watch be picked up.
Why don’t you try it then
Lewis The Reviewer I mean I'd rather not leave it lol
Amazing shot. It wouldn't work without the 4 taking out the 8, and to throw the shot with that much hook on it makes it all the more impressive.
2:04 Tang's reaction (bottom right corner) to Troup's spare was great
Splits are bowling giving you lemons. Watching this is sipping some tasty lemonade.
There haven't been a whole lot of high scores on the TV finals this year. But, these spilt conversations make up for it. Insane!
for every split you see get made there's 2-3 that aren't so hence poor bowling
@@orgonkothewildlyuntamed6301 lol so you make these spares on the daily while your paycheck is on the line?
Then the first telecast of 2020, 300 in the title match
I do those every single time I'm bowling
The lack of high scores, goes to show how much more difficult it is to succeed at these professional oil patterns, which demands a lot more precison. One ball can go high, while a single board adjustment right can gutter ball.
Bob Ross is strokin those splits!! Just a happy little pin over there probably needs a friend.
EJ at 2:20 ... I can't get enough of that shot. One of the all time best spares seen on tour.
It was a clean way to do it also
2:23 and 2:39. The sound of the crowd roaring...for you. Every player dreams to hear that.
Kyle Troup is my favorite spare shooter. I just love his energy whenever he makes a spare. I thought he was going to make the 2 8 10 lol
He just has to remember to bring his spare ball
@@akbubs 😂😂😂
I thought that too
The 8-10 was iconic!!
todd davis it was good
Since when did bob ross start professionally bowling
Zombie bowling?
I got you
No matter what you think about Screech, that dude can pick up splits.
@@roberts.8430 Don't get me wrong, I probably can't beat him (I'm 70 years old), but to make them he has to leave them.
@@rowlffffff Very true.👍🏻
2:21 that 2-4-8-10 conversion was nice!
Exactly. Takes a lotta hook to convert that cleanly.
CHRISTOPHER DUNNE Exactly the 2 into the 10 and the 4 into the 8
i just turned 14 when I first made that split
It’s a split where the lighter the ball, the better the chance to make it, because it’s more likely to deflect off the 2 and then hit the 4 on the left to take out the 8.
@@wecontrolthevideo okay, well it isn't like it was a light ball okay! is wasn't a small 8 pound, it was a 13 pound so there is no need to make that comment
0:20 I didn’t know Bob Ross but from art to bowling
Those leaves always give me splitting headaches 😂
Lmao
From these highlights, wow Kyle Troup is a master at split conversions
Great conversions under the tv lights but the ones with the head pin arent technically splits. They're washouts. I know, I'm splitting hairs. Oh, and yes, pun intended
True MOTIVATION... Sean lavery-spar's 8 .. 10 spare was spare of the year..... No one has ever done that on TV before... That I can remember in 47 yrs..
0:51 I’ve never seen that before!
I saw it live, it was incredible. I was just behind them up towards the back. He had another 10 pin earlier bounce on a spare. Never seen it before that day...still waiting to see a 7-10 pick up.
That could have been a 7-10 split conversion because it bounced out and might have rolled
I love these type of videos
Guess I must be mistaken...thought for it to be considered a split, the head-pin cannot be standing.
Bob Ross with a clean spar at 0:17
His name is actually rob boss no joke
Sharkboyryan Nope. Try again.
Happy Little Splits
The 7 10 split has been made only three times on PBA Tour TV. The last one was in 1991 in Tucson Arizona.
*60% of comments:* Some of these aren't splits!
*30% of comments:* Nice vid for the most part!
*10% of comments:* something something Bob Ross
*Me:* Mookie Betts is a professional baseball player _and_ bowler?
Great shot
kyle troop: master of split conversions
Supeeeeer, to je výkon!!!!
If the headpin is standing, it's not a split. I don't know WHY that is.
would be considered a washout
i think it means u would have to split the pins like, in half, where that would mean (using a whole rack) include taking out the head pin, which is why with out the head pin its called a split but with the head pin classafied as something diffrent
Pamela Cass Right it’s a washout.
@@thenungod but 2-7 is a split but 1-4 isn't same with 3-10 is but 1-6 isn't, not even the 1-7 or 1-10 is a split which is such stupid
@@whatisthis2809 nope, not a split if the head pin's there
Now, we just need the Big 4 picked up again. 😄
Leave it up to Kyle troop
That's a little much to ask lol
Drummachine I think out of everyone on tour, Osku has the best chance of picking it.
@@thecommoncoldvirus642 he doesn't throw really hard at spares anymore if you noticed he's been throwing at them 2 handed with a plastic ball
Ummmm WTF, that was amazeballs. Certainly some badass skills on show there....
I had a 3-7 split one time. Nailed it.
I cant believe that a boston red sox player made the 2-10 thats impressive
Watching the pros leave these monstrous splits makes me feel better about my own bowling.
Tackett with that hook!!!!! Sometimes i think Troup's ball is as wide as his fro!!
Love the content
The other day I made a 6-7-10 split... unfortunately no one filmed it. But it happened. PBA, here I come.
I love this😊😊
I’ve converted a few splits in my 10+ yrs bowling. The 4,7,10, 4,10, 6,7, 3,7,10 8,10, 2,7,10, 5,6,10, 4,5,7, 5,7 and the 5,10. Never converted the 7,10.
5-10, 5-7, 9-10, 8-9-10, 4-5-7, 4-9, 3-4-6-7-10, 2-4-6-10, 4-5, 3-6-7-10, 3-10, 3-9-10, 2-7, and 2-7-8. Technically, I’ve picked up the 6-7-10. I was going for the 6-7-9-10 and got all but the 9. I’ve also hypothetically gotten the 4-10. Had the 10 been standing, I would’ve had it. I’ve also hypothetically converted the 4-6
What are the odds for the pros... 3%? 7/10 is more luck than skill.
I have made amongst others, the 4,6 and 7,10 but never the 8,10
I just ever converted 5-7 and 4-5-7
I've converted the Greek chruch once
Incredible
Perfect 👌
The 8-10 split was eppppic
"Troup" there it is!
Wish there wasn’t the music over the video but thanks for creating and sharing otherwise!
At 10 years old I made a 6-7 split lol. I was 1 handed
Casuals: nice.
Pros: OMFG 🤬😩
OMG WOW , AMAZING 🎳🏆!
0:17 Happy little spare. That split wasn't a mistake - it was a happy accident!
Those dislikes need to unsubscribe. They clearly don't like bowling.
Hi
@@samueltan9386 Are you who I think it is
Yes yes I am
Kyle Troup is a great split shooter
1 word...brutal wow gj e1 including you bad hair day lmao
There isn’t anything Betts cant do... he is a true athlete all around
It's amazing how those PBA bowlers get the spares when there's a split going on.
Impressive
Sean livery Spair was the best because the 2 pins on his split were on a line while the other splits were slightly diagonal
1:16 not technically a split but good shot
Yah it is
Jeremy Radicker Тhe head pin was still standing
@@jeremyradicker9515 not a split. A washout
I’m a bowler and that is a split
So glad to hear you are a bowler and so am I. You cannot have a split if the head pin is standing. Forever and always a washout
Why do I have to tell the pba that washouts are NOT considered splits?
lol i was thinking the same thing
It's a stupid rule anyways lol
It is a split the definition of a split is two or more pin(s) that are away from each other without connection from any other pins.
Ryan Mai if you have the 1-pin it’s not considered a split.
It not split if headpin standing
I wish I was able to do those splits
ok, y'all missed the fact that the dude made the freakin 8-10 spilt in front of CARMEN FRICKIN SALVINO!!!!!!!!
So, to recap, the 2 4 8 10 was made more than 4 TIMES in this one year. One by E.J Tackett, and the other 3 were made during the week of wsob. One by Ronnie Russell, and the other 2 were done in the SAME HOUR during the scorpion championship by Kris Prather and Billy O
"Great shot!"
- Wii Sports guy
that eight ten split was the most impossible split to make
that 8-10 split was the toughest to convert.
I managed to pick up the 6-7-10 in a high school state bowling tournament. Normally my "strike ball" I line up on the approach in a direct line with the 2nd arrow (I'm a right hander) . Pretty standard shot.
When I left this split one of the guys on the team told me to "stand all the way over the left, aim at the 2nd arrow on the right and just throw your normal shot". I'm thinking "no way it will stay out of the channel"
Sure enough, I throw it, it curves perfectly, with about 2 boards to spare and slides the 6 over to the 7 and the ball takes out the 10.
FYI, my ball then (and still is) a Galaxy 2000 plastic ball. So no fancy reactive urathane.
Is there a specific way to find the success rate of a split in bowling
2-10 is hard but i’m 13 and i’ve picked it up maybe 5 times since i started 2 hands (2-3 years ago)
IDK if it's just me, But is it like super hard to pick up 4-3 pin splits? I can do them super easily.
Storm staff leaves a lot of splits on TV
Why in the hell do I keep watching bowling videos on CZcams when I don't even own a bowling ball or hardly ever bowl?
0:52 Could that angle and power with the 10-pin convert the 7-10 split?
VideoGamingFan I have been wondering that to 🎳❤️
Potentially
Kyle spares so many splits, that he often times step up to convert other people’s splits as well 😂
Actually, some of those "splits" are washouts, but I agree, it takes skill to make those washouts.
Since I was a teenager I start making the 7-10
the 2-4-8-10 is so hard because you have NO idea where those pins are going to deflect. (but, if you can hook it with his speed, prol a little easier 😉) impressive af
Yeah, I 2nd a post further down. I've always been told that if the headpin is there, it's not a split.
Fiyah
@2:01 looks like the pinsetter is missing something as you can see a box of AMF pins in the back right corner.
Some of those splits i have converted
I'd like to see how one goes about making the 4-6 (i.e., seriously, without PhotoShop). I've never seen it done.
I made the 4-6 split in the 10th frame to win a pot game. I barely skinned the right side of the 6 pin. It flopped over and fell into the 4 pin.
What is the song that they use?
A few of those were washouts, not splits. But still some fine execution.
At 1.01 is Carman Salvino
Im a 5 pin bowler up here in canada, this year i bowled in my first major qualifier for the Canadian Open, but for some reason i rather watch 10 pin bowling, i would of done 10 pin for league and such, but no 10 pin lanes near me, but the tournament i placed 30/32 male bowlers, with a 239 average
wheres the 7-10 conversion?
Just a suggestion. Leave the music out. I enjoy the sounds and commentary
I thought me converting the 1-3-6-7 was incredible, but... When I watch this, my spare was worthless
Expert analysis by JJ watt 🤣
Does anyone know what weight of ball Tackett uses? He easily lobs the ball out there a ways so I cannot see it being close to being a 16 pounder. I guess his spare ball is lighter. He appears to have good control and revs for a lightweight player throwing a heavy ball.
Accumulator1 at one point he did use 16 pounds but I think he uses 15 now
Either way he uses a minimum of 15 pounds
Thanks. Anyways, that was a freaky 2-4-8-10 split conversion he made considering his ball went to the 6th board before breaking back across, and the angle it hit the 2 pin that still was able to take out the 10 was unbelievable if you look at it closely.
2:39 weeeee
Time for ABC to revive "Professional Bowlers Tour".
Bob Ross really knows how to finesse that brush huh
Some of these were not splits & not that difficult for accomplished bowlers. Others, like the 2-4-8-10, 3-4-6-7-10 and 8--10 splits are very difficult. Amazing conversions there.
😍😍😍
Wow this video is actually about 300 views away from 1mil, at the time of writing!
I've made all those splits 🤷. Never have made the 7-10 though. Although I do have my dad's 7-10 patch.
Song?
Kyle Troup yeeeeeeeeeeee
I once had the weirdest split, but it's not really a split. When I was delivering, the person on the next lane also delivered (rude) and I tried to stop my delivery and retry, but the ball slipped and became a gutterball. Then for some reason, the machine failed to detect the headpin and recorded that as "1 split". I then picked the 10 pin spare.
Whats the song name?
Couple Of Split In Bowl🎳 It Is Hard For Me To Get At The Bowl🎳 Alley When I Bowl
Who music

Wrong title since a few of them wasn´t actually split conversions when the headpin is a part of combination left...
