Sandesh and Shweta from Pokhara, Nepal, explain the process of preparing a Laxmi Puja to me and what it takes to attract a god. Laxmi is the the god of prosperity who Nepalese people try to entice into their home to bring them wealth and a bright future. Creating a rangoli, making small footprints made from flour paste, burning candles, and setting off fire woks is all a part of a Laxmi Puja.
