It is said that if Ramanujan had lived a few more years, he would have discovered the secrets of the universe itself. His theta function is used today by nuclear scientists to determine the nature of subatomic particles. He had worked out the mathematical proof of black holes 100 years ago when people didn't even know what a black hole was. When he was asked how he could produce such extraordinary theorems he simply said "God talks to me". One of the greatest minds who ever lived. It was tragedy that the world lost a man who could explain infinity itself had he lived longer.

Guys don't forget. Atleast 70% of Ramanujan's work could not be used for around 60yrs cause people didn't know what to do with it. It's only in the 80s and early 90s when scientists were studying black holes, singularities and worm holes only then Ramanujan's work became the holy grail. He was at that time atleast a century ahead in terms of mathematics.
