@@surendran9311 Yeah, the best one tends to be where there's a Brit participating. Like, Stephen Graham's and Burna Boy's snack wars are brilliant, or the Micah, Jamie and Romesh one. But I do think the Pedro Pascal and Jon Favreau one is good too, and doesn't feel as forced as some Hollywood stars snack wars might feel.

Agreed Mark Ruffalo is a gentlemen in every sense of the word.
I used to work background. Never did a project with Ruffalo, but I can tell by the way he refers to background actors as "background artists," rather than the more commonly used "extras," tells me he's probably a real nice dude.
Sean and Mark’s on-screen chemistry is great. They should open a restaurant together and call it Ruffalo Wild Wings.
It'd have to be the best wing-joint on planet earth, and with those two I think it just might be! What a great idea!

I'd prefer to think of it as Librarian, given teh research for the questions. I've always kind of though of him as one, and the glasses just kinda sealed it for me.

Seriously... not even ONE question about Marvel. I HATE that. Marvel is what brought Mark Ruffalo to the spotlight. Most of us don't watch those low budget indy movies, we're here because we know Mark from the MCU. I don't mind them focusing more on his lesser known stuff, but give the majority what they're here for!
I knew Mark long before Marvel.
It's ok if you learns who he was through Marvel, but many of were familiar before. I guess it's also a testament to his decades worth career.

I love that they went an entire interview without mentioning Hulk once, like kudos to them for appreciating all of his other work outside of Marvel, because man there’s plenty of it! Just Like Heaven is an amazing movie, love Mark and Reese in it, would watch pretty much anything with them working together again!

Well he is a great actor but because of Marvel movies the Hulk turned into a personafied crybaby and weakling. I wouldn't want to hear about the Hulk either. He had no input on it I am sure.

Its crazy. I've had so many "favorite" interviews, that I didnt think could be beat or I could like a guest more. But then they always seem to find amazing guests and have great interviews! I still have my favorites, but the fact that I even have to think about it after each episode is a testament to the content.

Something I love about this show is Sean really opens up the actors personality. I don’t remember seeing Mark this goofy before in an interview, it’s awesome 😂
You just can tell that mark has his feet on the ground, acknowledging his worth and wisdom yet staying humble and kind. The advice he gave at the end really spoke to me, hopefully I can take it and flourish in my own goals.
Mark is so great. He seems like a regular guy who happens to be a famous actor. Not many famous actors can pull that off.

I believe that was my favorite interview. What a graceful dude. His description of Joaquin Phoenix came from his heart and may have changed my opinion of Phoenix. Top notch entertainment venue by the dudes at Hot Ones. Bravo!
Mark seems really down to Earth. His mom being the sole reason to continue his dream of acting is inapiring.
I love when celebrities turn out to be down to earth, like normal people. They don’t take themselves to seriously and are just fun.
My mom was friends with him in his breakout role in theater and he was just as genuine then as he is now.

He was freaking hilarious and so goofy in this. Thoughtful and kind and wise, yeah, but a downright riot. I don’t think I’ve heard the crew laugh that audibly before.
I also noticed the laughter more than usual. IMHO, it wasn't knee-slapping hilarity like some other guests, but it was so wholesome and uplifting you can't help but laugh along. I wonder if the editors made a conscious decision to leave more side participation in than usual. I'm glad they did, Ruffalo earned it.
That just seems to be naturally Ruffalo. Guy's really funny. He's been on Graham Norton a bunch of times, and I can highly recommend them. The ones with Josh Widdicombe and David Schwimmer are especially amusing.

I love how literally every single one of these celebrities gives props to Sean's deep cuts. It's always my favorite part of the interview, like little gold nuggets. That double-take look of surprise like, "How'd this guy dig _that_ up? Only like 2 guys knew about that, I'm one of them, and the other guy's dead!" You're perfecting your craft, Sean, and we're all just grateful to be there watching it! 🌶

It feels a little intentional at this point because too many are commenting on it.
The fact that Ruffalo survived a BRAIN tumor, and has truly performed a ton of incredibly powerful roles in dozens of films is a testament to the fact that we basically don't deserve him, lol! :) The Mahvull "Hulk" was only one of MANY characters he's delved into. Here's to Ruffalo; I'm glad the spice was with him on this one!
I fell in love with mark watching 13 going on 30, but this made me fall in love even more, such an amazing human being, and amazing advice he gave at the end..perfection 👌🏻
Weird note, but I love hearing the crew/entourage react a bit more. It's a great supplement/reflection for the reactions of the audience at home that does NOT fall under the fake, canned laughter of a fake studio audience. Really makes it feel like everyone is having fun: please keep these people in the room and let them enjoy the show with us.
It's not weird, I love it. And seeing as they miced them up they know people enjoy it. I also really like the fact that it makes it about more than just Sean. It's a team instead of just the one guy, and it feels like such a labour of love.

Mark has a good vibe I love him. He seems so chill and fun. He is a great actor and I’m so glad his mom didn’t let him quit lol! I love when the actors light up from Sean’s interesting questions, the “wow how does he know about that?!” look on their face is the best. I bet it’s so fun get unique questions, they ralways light up and show their personalities. It’s so much better than the same basic questions over and over.Sean really puts his heart into this show.

His closing advice are words of wisdom. I didn't think I could like Mark Ruffalo more. He's a great actor, Zodiac is the GOAT, and I love how his eyes light up with a little insanity right before he bites into the wing. Great episode.
13 going on 30 and dark waters are a must watch. 13 going on 30 just for fun and Dark Waters for serious political drama that is actually based on a real life story (dupont, PFAS, chemours). please check those out. Zodiac is great but Mark Ruffalo is REALLY good at a lot of drama and even side characters.

Ok. I am an artist who has 15 years of experience in drawing, painting both digital and on paper/canvas, but i couldn't get the job to live off that craft for 10 years now. So I did quit. Obviously, there’s a limit to everything. You must to make enough to eat, but I’m just another voice out there saying don’t quit, at least don’t let the spirit die. Maybe it’s paused for now, but the artist’s spirit (desiring to create) should always have the freedom of coming out when the opportunity knocks.

But then the time comes when you have to think about bills to pay, family to feed and parents to help. And "passionate creation strictly for yourself" won't do it. This was by far one of my favorite episodes as Mark was soft spoken, thoughtful, engaging and handling the heat like a real champ. I think this was the longest interview I have watched him perform. Kudos to how much Sean dug up and Mark allowed himself to answer. awesome for both men as well as the BTS crew!!

I love your interviews so much because they are entertaining but also and most importantly so well researched! And I think, this is what the guests also appreciate. So often one hears guests yell out "wow, you really did your research" or "that's a really good question" and I love that.
Imma keep it a brick, i only know mark for being hulk but after this interview i think i like him more now especially as a person.

Again I love how the actors/actresses or other celebrities appreciate the questions they are being asked as a pose to hearing the same questions repeated every interview. I love that part of this show and it’s clearly a point of why these people come on the show, they really genuinely seem to love the interaction and unorthodox way of being asked these things that make them ask, how do you know that. I love this show I love the interaction it’s definitely something we don’t get at all in any talk show out there
