A short and nice video giving insights on the screw notch alignment and bleeding of air on both ends of the pipe. 👌
Please make more such videos on other aspects like carb adjustments, spark plug maintenance and setting, fuel tank / fuel filter cleaning etc.
Every single topic you asked is covered in videos
@@Yamakaze Thanks... New here, Shall check it out 👍
Oh my god.. you are awesome man. Great info. Keep helping people. God bless
Ram Raj Panthukalathil thanks man, please like the videos, subscribe the share with your friends. This will motivate me to put more such content. Thanks again
Great information
Kevin Johnson thank you
Brilliant. Is a little high pump stroke bad? What will happen if we use higher pump stroke than normal?
More oil
Good😊
Hi buddy . Thank you for your nice video . It is very useful . But when i try to adjust the screws all the way down as per the video . The pin and the dot is not getting aligned perfectly a little bit gap is there . Could you let me know what will be issue and diagonise it. If possible any video on this would be helpful.
Vijay kumar there are shims that the company uses, sometimes they don’t align. It’s ok. Try to align it the best you can. A little bit won’t matter. Each bike Yamaha built is different that is the reason why these things were unique, I personally don’t trust the oil pump, always advisable to pour a little oil in the petrol tank.
@@Yamakaze Thank you very much for clarification
. Possibly looking forward to use as premix with petrol .
Please make repairing video
Hi buddy . I learnt it,.but my by mistake I took out the oil pump as it was not working so when I tried to put back the packing get damaged and screw of one side becomes free (I mean its moving free) so could you advise me in regards !!
The packing and screw threads are two things, get a tap set and try chasing the thread, most likely you will have to replace the clutch cover
Is there any washer at the point where the pump get fits into that rod coming from clutch cover. Is that small washer really important? Coz I couldn't find one in my bike bcz previous owner would have lost it, what should I do?
What washer are we talking about? Message me on Instagram
Make a video on clutch adjustment of rx100.
Shriyansh Mishra yes it’s planned
What amount of 2t oil should should b delivered by the 2t pump at a certain R. P. M within a specific time ?
jerry smith at higher RPM the amount needed is higher than at idle, the ratio of 2T to petrol is always 30:1
Do I need to drain the engine oil before removing oil pump for repair
Not needed, you will have to drain oil only if the shaft needs removal
@@Yamakaze Thank you
Hi. you take out the bleed screw of the oil pump, start the engine and wait for the oil is coming out of the scew hole but in the meantime, the engine is running without 2 stroke oil lubrication ? I wonder if this is the real way to bleed the autolube pump without destroying the piston an cylinder liner ?
the engine doesn't get damaged if running for a minute at idle speed.
U can premix lube oil with petrol in tank and can be done no issues
I apologize for bombarding you with questions - the oil seals have one side flat and the other side is grooved. Can you please tell me which side should be facing outwards? I had seen few oil pump repair videos, but they are not consistent. They don't seem to care much about it but I am worried about making a mistake.
mjshaheed it’s simple, the groves side and the side where the oil is has to be facing each other
@@Yamakaze Thank you so much Brother!
Bro, Please do make an Oil pump repair video. Also, while in idle, should the tip of the pump be moving back and forth? Mine is a bit stuck and the movement very very thin. When I tried to do it manually when the bike is switched off, I feel like it's stuck. I guess the center shaft has to be replaced, but not sure.
mjshaheed the shaft won’t move under normal circumstances, I will look for the oil pump oil seals, if I get a set I can do a video.
@@Yamakaze OK Bro. So, when you pull the shaft by hand, it moves fairly smoothly?
mjshaheed no, you cannot move it with your hand, as soon as the pump is pumping oil you are good, don’t look at the moment
Hi, at 3:14 there is the 2t oil kit with one pipe carb to oil pump and other 2t oil tank to oil pump.
I’ve bought these sets for the third time now and they are being cracked and worn out seems to be very unreliable? Is there any alternative way for those pipes like saving them from breaking and cracks or can any other model pipes fit for them instead like any motorcycles or scooters etc..
Absolutely, there are pink color(for that matter all fluorescent colors) tubes available at most auto spare shops, they are great. I have been using those and they are perfect
@@Yamakaze 😃👍
👍
Bro I just check the pipe of 2t oil which linked to carb..sadly the oil don't came when I'm going ...just some back time it is OK..but now it stops working
...can u tell me what can I check in the oil pump
did you bleed the pump? there is a screw that you can open for the oil to come, if it doesn't come then pour the 2T in the petrol tank
Currently using autolube but if I start premix then do I need to remove the oil pump Or shall I keep the oil pump calibration to least setting? Will the pump get damaged if running dry for longer period?
Yes the oil pump will get damaged
@@Yamakaze so keeping the oil pump in least setting and adding 20ml oil per litre will help me save the oil pump and avoid engine seize as well?
@@KK-cd7nu no, it’s better to remove it and keep it safe from the weather
@@Yamakaze ok ok. Thanks bro👍
Brother if the oil seals repaired in pump means the pump will not pump correctly and the oil will go excess to the carburettor right
No, if done correctly it should function like new
@@Yamakaze ok
What the engine oil Capacity of Rx100?
i changed the engine oill but mechanic filled 500ml only. and i think it is less as i searched in google it says 650ml.
what is the right capacity?
Shriyansh Mishra 650 ML, less oil will ruin your clutch plates and other components
@@Yamakaze Ohk..i will fill tomorrow.
I don't know from where the 2t is leaking from the pump does I have to drain engine oil before removing the 2t oil pump
Mahesh Sai for removing the pump you don’t have to drain the engine oil. But most likely it will be leaking oil from the shaft oil seal. In order to fix that you will have to remove the side cover. Just take the pump out after draining the 2T tank. Let’s hope the oil seal is fine
@@Yamakaze thanks for the reply bro😀😀😀😀
Mahesh Sai 😉

Wheather minimum stroke for pump is required when the bike is in idling
What do you mean by stroke? It obviously needs to run and pump oil at idle
@@Yamakaze stroke means the pump has to come in and out during idle or not
@@VISHNUGAMER of course
Ok but that's the premix ratio , but how many drops @3000 rpm/minute
jerry smith that depends on a lot of parameters, the size of the drop and the amount of charge entering the cylinder. Let me put it this way, the premix ratio is a derivative of the same research that prescribes the 30:1 ratio for optimal running, this is also followed by the autolube pumps. Now since you have come this far, let me also point at the fact that the ratios are determined by the gears inside the pump and that the gearing for rx 100 is different from rx 135, which is again different in 4 speed and 5 speed. All these gear ratios ensure that the charge entering the cylinder has a oil to fuel ratio of 30:1. Now there are simulations that can tell you the amount of fuel charge entering the cylinder at each RPM, you can do the calculations based on that. You have to assume the size of a drop. All these calculations will not be worth anything if you are using the stock pump you won’t be able to change the oil to fuel ratio without changing the gear ratio
Hi,
My pump was leaking, but my mechanic did shouldering to the pump lol, but still it leaks oil and now he says we have to get a new pump and it’s almost 1300₹. If I get a new one will the pump fail again?? Which is better pump or mixing oil in petrol ⛽️ tank??
All pumps fail at some point. I don’t use oil pumps at all, all my bikes use premix. I suggest everyone to use premix
@@Yamakaze Thank you, I guess it's always better to use premix.
SRT 99 yes
Which is better premixing or filling directly to the oil tank

Sure brother
Your phone no plz bro
Akshay Shelke Patil I don’t share my phone number because I my number is my office number. You can reach out to me using Facebook or instagram. Details are in the home page of this channel
Pls suggest proper premix ratio
30ml max per liter of petrol for normal riding, if going on a long and continuous ride then add 5 ml extra, anything more will make the engine run hot because it leans the mixture out
Rx100 and rx135 oil pump are same or not ??
Sahil Singh Khod the gearing is different. The method of adjustment is same though
Sir,I am not able to adjust my pump as there are no adjusting bolts that is going to my oil pump.Is there any other way to do it ?
Thank you
Bratty Biker like I mentioned that adjuster is part of the throttle cable. Local cables usually don’t have that. Always buy OE cables
Yamakaze Yes sir,You are right.I just replaced my cable, bled the pump and now it is working well sir 😊🙏
Bratty Biker do not rely 100% on the 2T pump. Expect to see a puddle of 2T under the engine one morning, the oil seals must be shot. It’s not easy to get one. If you find a set get me one as well. I will create a video on how to fix it
Yamakaze Sure sir.I am premixing about 25ml of oil for every 2 litres of fuel just to keep my tank rust free and also to save the engine from the siezure if the oil pump fails unexpectedly.
Definitely sir,Can you please mention the names and part numbers of the oil seals ?
Bratty Biker I am not aware of the part numbers, you can ask for oil pump oil seals, there are 2

What if i keep the cable fully tight will it give more oil to carburettor.
Prasad Shirodkar it will make the mixture lean and ruin your cylinder and short your plug
Does it mean that it will give more oil to the carburettor then required?
Also my cable is in fully pulled up position but there is no much smoke from the silencer...
