For years, I have been mixing 2T Oil directly into tank while filling petrol.(Not only me, but most of us). That oil pump is never going to use again. Then why should we not removing away the oil pump, which is an obselete part and adds more weight to engine?. One thing I need your advise, that, I have closed the nozle on carb which intake oil from the oil pump, as no oil is pumped. Does it make any adverse effects on functiong the carb ?
If the oil feed like is plugged it won’t create any issues, if take out the pump you won’t same any advantages due to reduction in weight, but an oil pump running without oils is bad for the pump and soon you will start hearing sounds because of dry pump, my advice is to remove the pump, however leave the shaft unless you have a blocking oil seal

I have a doubt, does adjusting the big adjuster nut on the oil pump cable anti clockwise increase or decrease the oil flow to the engine? Because I've seen many adjust the flow using the adjustment of the autolube with the cable.
That is to adjust the free play, turning it anti clock wise will increase the flow momentarily but at high rpm it will pump less oil, if you adjust it too high it will not pump oil at high rpm and can starve the engine

your accelerator cables come preconnected 2X1, you just need to connect the end which has 2 cables to the carb and oil pump the other end goes to the throttle
1.Bro I have 1989 model Rx100
Last week I put on new spark plug but my bike doesn’t start in single kick I need to use choke and kick it. Is it common in the morning??
2. When I stop at traffic signals my bike stops in traffic do I need to press clutch and twist the accelerator for it? So that it doesn’t stop like that..
SRT 99 starting with the Choke in the morning is recommended by the company, however stopping at signals is not that common, just check if it’s idling we’ll
Yamakaze I checked with my mechanic about these problems, he said he tuned the carburetor for mileage. He set it all right now. Hope it works alright now.
SRT 99 the biggest problem is these mechanics, they just assume and do whatever pleases them. Running lean may return you a decent mileage, but it will ruin your cylinder

Your idle RPM is set too low.Rotate the idling nut clockwise.
My RX 100 gear liver is always shaking too much. Gear is not slipping or main rod from engine is tight. But this is irritating.Can you give me idea to fix that over play
Check if your clutch needs resetting, there is a small ball between the plunger and the clutch pushrod

sumod mathew under the accelerator there is a nut you can lossen it to reduce play, you can reduce the play by adjusting the top nut on the carb
