Ali/Islam saw Dustin (fresh off of 1 win after getting KO'd) as the easiest possible opponent, so you can see why they were going hard-out on twitter calling for that fight rather than face a competent wrestler like Gamrot (also they didn't mention Arman/Gamrot's name once, always Poirier).

The slander against Makhachev is ridiculous. Makhachev flew to Vegas last summer and asked the UFC to fight then. They made him sit out till October. Makhachev had a an injury earlier this year but told the UFC he could fight on the March PPV. UFC told him nobody was available. Gaethje decided to take the Max fight and lost. I dont see what the issue is with the Porier fight? Arman will get the winner in the fall. People acting like Dustin doesn't have a win over Gaethje, two wins over Max, two wins over Mcgregor, etc.
