@@jlayzi last I heard, trolls have sociopathic tendencies. That's as much as saying I don't know the answer, since I cannot get inside of the head of a sociopath. But the last troll I talked to did it for a sense of superiority over everyone he managed to provoke. He was pretty sure that the people he drove to anger were proving themselves "NPCs."
She seems to not quite have an âopening up rangeâ
At the points where you expect the music to explode, her voice just seems to kind of go a little flat instead. She could write her own material in a specific style to her voice which would sound nice, but it wouldnât be mainstream pop and so therefore wouldnât sell anywhere near as well as some other artists might

Hold up, hold up. Where in my comment did I say I believe everyone who thinks this woman can't sing -- or is bad at singing -- is a sociopath? I never said that. I never said anything close to it.
You say, "he could have said that a lot less harsh, but..." Like the harshness of the comment is somehow secondary to why I described the guy that way.
It's not. The tone and context of this troll's comment are the entirety of why I described him as a troll.
The OP said simply: "I'm surprised she's not a huge celebrity yet." Note: he did NOT bring up her vocal talents! I read it and figured he was probably talking about the way she flirts with the camera. Minister, you cannot deny she has incredible presence, (which is more important in a rockstar than expert singing abilities, historically speaking). More importantly, the comment was more an expression of respect for this woman than a factual statement! There was obviously exaggeration. (And until you showed up, there was no discussion around her singing abilities.)
Now here's why I described the troll as a troll (and hence a sociopath) (though I went and found the study that says that, and it looks like it's "psychopath" and not "sociopath"): all that existed in the thread prior to the troll was a highly-thumbed-up comment expressing basically nothing. I mean, "wow, you should be famous!" is cliched, and it oversimplifies the entire process of becoming famous.
1) An expression of fondness for something, and 2) a statement that cannot be factually defended. In other words, the sentiment expressed by the comment was emotional. Expressing emotions is a display of vulnerability. And if you were to look for a troll, that's where you would find one: where there is vulnerability. The high number of likes enhances this, because you know a number of people are making the same display of vulnerability by agreeing with the statement. That's a wider net. One comment can hit a lot more people.
To reiterate: the OP's statement is clearly more emotional than rational ("you should be mega-famous!"), there are a lot of people displaying vulnerability, and that is the exact place I would expect to encounter a troll.
Like magic, someone appears and says "she can't [insert one thing she does for the duration of the video]."
That was surgical precision, my man. That was not a poorly-phrased, "I beg to differ."

She's not bad, but she'll be better with a little seasoning. I expect she'll be off the market by age 40 or so, but with some serious life experience and a touch of growl in the voice, she'll have several times the presence she has now. Songs like "Mr. Sandman" are perfect with a little-girl look, but for this one you want a grown-ass woman who has been drug around a rough corner or two but is still classy.

You must put an incredible amount of work and time into each video you do. Donât worry or waste your time with any negative comments.
