I LOVE how their voices work together on the chorus, idk much about ranges but sounds like Vanessa sings higher and Ashley goes low, and they blend heavenly.

you're totally right! there are two reasons why this works so perfect. first, we all know that women can sing higher than men, but there are also other ways to distinguish voices, in this case, Ashley has kinda nose voice, which is not bad and sounds good actually, on the other hand, Vanessa has a cristal clear voice, which seems to sound higher than Ashley but it is not, they just have different natural frequency boost, these diferences are part of the magic. Besides, this was profesionally produced.
The harmonization is so beautiful I cannot describe the way it makes me feel.

Tbh I prefer their voices now , it sounds more natural than 11 years ago since Disney made them sing with a high pitched tone just so that they could sound younger. They did it with Miley as well in the third season of Hannah Montana when her voice was starting to get more mature.
