Brits invented it, were the best at it enough said
SAS all day. The SAS is also trained by MI5 and MI6 something our American friend editing the video forgot to mention. My grandfather was in 1NZ SAS us kids only found out at his funeral where there were two SAS soldier's who saluted him. I knew he was in the army in his younger days but this was a surprise, only my grandma knew. This also explained why he was just a tough bugga the toughest man I ever knew but just a different type of tough and work from dark to dark even when he was in his late sixties. RIP pop ❤
The original is always better than the copy.
Put it this way when Delta Force work with any other special forces from around the world, they know their the best and probably expect the others to be a little bit in awe of them. However that feeling is the complete opposite way around when their working with the 22SAS, they know who the daddy is!
Check the battle of mirbat 9 SAS against 300 insurgents. Mi5 train sas to do surveillance. Even other SF recognise SAS as the best.
Sas. Easy question
Pen Y Fan is in south Cymru. I've done the exact same route they do...I can tell you that it's a killer and that's just walking it. Add on the weight that they carry and do that at a fast pace...Yeah; it was the hottest day of the year and they didn't consume enough water, but it's no surprise that people died doing that course...it's a beast
SAS baby
sas no question
SAS no question !
c'mon lets be real.. SAS
The SBS (Special Boat Service) can do everything the SAS can do, but they can walk on water... Both are better than US Delta Force.
That’s a great video on The selection process for the SAS. It’s pretty amazing. Where do you work very closely with your equivalent.
There’s a lot missing in the SAS parts of the video it’s barley scratching the surface of what they do for selection , initial SAS selection is 6 months long and if you get badged into the SAS your still on probation and can get kicked out and sent back to the regiment you came from if your not up to standards , between 90/95 percent fail selection and uk special forces do work with Mi5 & Mi6 , as the video said most candidates come from the parachute regiment and the Royal Marines no women has passed Royal Marines training and only 1 women has passed the parachute regiments p company training even though uksf selection is open to women in my opinion I don’t think any women would pass selection , the SAS and delta force have a very close working relationship so it’s a win win for both country’s in my eyes , really enjoy your videos keep it up
SAS /SBS will accept anyone from any of the tri services i.e. army Navy RAF .
SBS even better go look them up.
Like comparing nfl to varsity college team ain't it ?
SAS all the way.... no woman will pass mate so probs av to be one of the switcheroo brigade 🤷🏻♂️🏳️🌈
If any woman is capable of passing it. They all may as well pack up & go home.
Ehhhh not quite 😂

Still 1, I am British and probably biased.
But the SAS go in 4 man teams, each one specialise in 4 different areas (engineer, demolition, medic, cyber ware fare etc etc)
This means a 4 man team have the same capabilities as a full military unit.
They rely heavily upon the guys on the mission with planning etc to create autonomous units who can be flexible on the ground as circumstances change and still be highly effective.
They choose their own weapons and get unlimited recourses to train with them and do a lot of training wearing gas masks to improve their accuracy when not wearing them.
They are trained in military and civilian setting (evasive driving, escorting, escaping enemy detection etc)
I know a lot of this Delta will have also, and I am 100% certain Delta are top tier.
The thing that separates the British I believe is the history of the nation, the amount of times it has been to war and succeeded (against the odds) the general attitude of British people is not to show emotions but to ‘take the piss’ out of each other.
I believe that this attitude comes from a history of men at war all over the world.
When you look at standard UK units compared to US, the US have numbers but are more emotional when it comes to war, where the UK seem to see it as a ‘job’ that needs to be done.
The US have the numbers and funding so would probably beat the UK in full scale war.
But the UK with small numbers has always had to find ways of defeating larger forces with smaller numbers forcing them to be more daring and precise with the recourses they have.
The UK army and special forces are undoubtedly some of the best on the planet.
Cheers fella ..ill drink to that .
Your bang on right ,when I was in basic training for my REGT within the British army i.e. you would have about 36 recruits to a block over 3 floors ,and about 12 per floor there was Scots ,Irish ,Welsh, English ..but here's the thing you had Jordies, lads from Yorkshire ,Manchester ,and they'd fight anyone ..
Put alcohol into the mix.. and just stand back and light the fuse ….
And your right to be specialist you have to be small ,or your just another unit .
I saw a previous short vid on a delta force guy talking about 22 SAS ,anyway he went on to say how the SAS didn't have night vision or lasers at some point during the Gulf war/s and in Afghan..
Now here's the point id like to make all this stuff that aids a soldier in the field nowadays ..I sometimes question ,why well a scope for instance on a rifle doesn't improve your shooting it just makes the target bigger .
Anyhow ..back when the SAS did the Iranian embassy siege THEY DIDNT HAVE NIGHT VISION THEN ..
YET THEY CLEARED 45 ROOMS IN 11 MINUTES .
Enough said ..
SBS demonstrated a lot of CQB to your seals ..
