  • Ardyno is an Arduino shield for DIY dynamometers designed to be used with SimpleDyno free dyno software.
I'm selling them for 10USD, free shipping.
    Ardyno website
    ardyno.weebly.com
    Get Simpledyno here:
    sites.google.com/site/simpled...
I built my own motorcycle inertia dyno in 2016 using a large burnt out electric motor and Simpledyno software.
The Ardyno shield let's you easily connect your various dyno sensors to the Arduino. It was at first just ment for my own use, but as there has been considerable interest I've decided to start selling them.
    Features:
    - 1x input for roller rpm, hall sensor
    - 1x input for engine rpm, either hall sensor or capacitive clamp on sparkplug wire
    - 6x analog 0-5v inputs for voltage, temperature, egt, afr, pressure etc.
    - Works with Simpledyno Arduino sketch without modification

    Hi!
I plan to build my dyno electronics the fancy way. I have ordered an aluminum enclosure for it. I just want to make sure if I got it rigth about what can and should be grounded to what. If I paid good attention the roller hall sensor cable shielding should be connected with the metal enclosure and the capacitive engine RPM pickup shielding should be connected to the bike frame and the ardyno board. Is there anything more I should know about in therms of what should or shouldnt be grounded to eachother? As always thank you!

Can you plot the graph in SimpleDyno using only the rpm and 1 analog input(torque)? I am planning to build an engine brake dyno and it will basically output the torque from a sensor in 0,5..4,5v. In this case i do not need the roller at all. I know simpledyno is not yours but i guess that you could have the answer..

Hello, I have a 1.8 inercia roller. I tried to use ardyno for a 40hp bike. I have 20 signal per rpm and I use a gear ratio for the rpm.
Everything seems to be fine but when I tried, everytime gave me different power, 30, 20, 16hp...
It seems to has some retaird from the hall sensor? Due takes some time to change the rpm and the speed.
What am I doing wrong? Everything in the shield looks fine.

Several weeks ago I sent you an email to order an arduino shield. Until now I have not had any reply. Have you perhaps missed my e-mail? I hope to hear from you soon.

Sorry man, must have gotten buried.
Unfortunately I have no more cards in stock, and I'm struggling with finding the time to do order handling, shipping etc.
Here's a link to the files, you can use them to get the card manufactured at your pcb supplier of choice(not expensive at all for just a few)
