I used to work in construction, but I have a desk job now. I swear my back hurts more from sitting at a desk than it ever did doing physical work. Good tips, I’ll try to get this included into my daily routine.
😅
Agree completely, I’m in the same situation.
Standing desk🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Same here. The downside of promotions
It’s so true, I’ve done / still do plumbing. Take a day off can hardly straighten my back . Keep on digging / shovelling …I’m still ok .
I have no idea how you're not yet breaking the internet. You're the best one out there for stretching, with the physio education bonus.
Nice presentation
This is exceptionally useful video, production values are top notch, super helpful information well articulated by a charismatic and beautiful teacher!
Thank you so much for providing the world with these exercises
That "hug" shoulder stretch is incredible! I instantly feel better and much less stiff. Thanks so much! I really like your videos as they are very informative and let you know why you are doing the stretches/exercises and how to do them properly. Thanks so much. Have a wonderful weekend. 😊
I love these stretches and will definitely incorporate them into my daily desk job. Before I try to make one myself, do you have a handout mini poster I could print out and stick above my monitor and I could use as a reminder of what i need to do and for how long?
Thanks so very much! I work long hour days sitting and just doing these moves while watching for the first time, I already feel less crickety stiff. 💜
Nice! I've been working on these on my own, discovering them!
My only add is that when bringing around the leg for that figure 4 crossing onto the lap, I raise my leg 1st placing that foot on the chair ahead of my bum, tight as I can. Then, keeping the leg hinged closed, I drop my knee to the outside. Once there I lift that foot up, with care to keep that legs hinged closed, up onto the other lap. I find this makes my knee feel much happier than when I simply pull up my foot and put it on that lap.
Thank you so much for your work & generosity. May all good things happen to you!
Oh, I have been using resistance bands & light weights too. Got some routines working out! Also just started using a staff. That is more space dependent, of course. So I'm redesigning my immediate work space so I can play with it.
Again, Thanks.
love this! would love a real-time, follow-along lesson
Brilliant and so helpful as always 😍 Thanks !!!
This is really helpful (and doable) - thanks!
Great steps, these are helpful for my desk sitting times. Thanks! 😊
I think the universe is speaking to me. Last week I started a 10-week exercise program (at home program), but I knew I needed to work on my shoulder mobility and my hamstrings/glute region. In the past week, another workout channel released a Mobility-specific 20 min routine, and I subscribed to your channel after your Shoulder Mobility video showed up in my recommended weeks ago! Now you release this video :D
I did a daily 20 minute stretch routine in 2020 working from home, but as soon as I was required to return to the office my flexibility/mobility has decreased the last 3 years (9 hour desk job, although I use my standing desk part of the day & use the wall to do some arm/back stretches).
The decrease has really affected my strength based routines - I don't trust myself to do proper low squats or deadlifts or any exercise with arms behind me (shoulder rotation). It's hard enought to dedicate 30-60 mins a few times a week for exercise, and I don't carve enough time for stretching, so this is a great addition!!
First exercise is amazing! Thank you so much. I use your yoga videos almost every day, also amazing! Thank you.
love ... we need more of these ... been working from home for the last 3 years 😞
Great video, thank you, Liv! I will start doing these tomorrow :)
I'll definitely implement some of these exercises into my "table stretches".
Thank you :)
Thank you very much! You gave me the inspiration to do these exercises.
Very useful tips! Some new to me.and looking forward to try them 😊 thanks a lot!
This is fantastic! Thank you SO much! Your channel is amazing! 👏
Fantastic! Thank you
Wow another great video - thanks Liv. 😍😍
Thank you! Much loved and needed.
Extremely useful and interesting video.
Thank you so much 🙏
Wonderful videos! Thanks! I needed your help and didn't know it. Lots of low hanging fruit in my case. Every exercise gets results. It makes me feel younger, and promises to have a huge impact on my life going forward.
Love these!
I would also add wear compression socks and do calf raises.
really great video. Just joined. Even this one video is worth so so much.
Brilliant video, as always 🖤
Thank you great strechs.
Lovely. Added these to my routine.🎶
Great vid !
THANK YOU X100 FOR THIS!!!!!!
I’m getting my class to do the first stretch once school starts again. These were great.
Stretch number 3 is brilliant.
Nice lesson 🎉
They are great stretches thank you. I also use a stand up desk which is great!!
Merci Madame, just follow your tricks or routine for the one who is old and working often in front of a computer.... Merci Liv !!!
thank you very much. You are always clear, short and practical in your explanations and also charming (:
Ooohh, thank you!!!
At 3:55 that is exactly one of the exercises I've been doing in rehab for a Total Hip Replacement. My therapist and I laugh because sitting up straight doing that is harder than you think if your muscles really need it. Thanks for these.
Very useful!
I'm pretty good at sitting though! Fortunately I love moving more. Thanks for the vid, Liv. ❤
The chilling doggie is so adorable 🥰
Thank you✌
FANTASTIC!
Excellent thanks ❤😊.
What a gem !
Shall work on the hip flexors for sure! 👍but not at my desk at work😅😅🙃🙃
Sally helpful!
These are great, any ideas for a driving instructor of 18 years, not to be done while teaching obviously 😅. Thanks for all the videos 👍
Can you please make videos on how to practice poses or stretches to make a perfect padmasana
What u need is a Walk Pad & elevated desk.
going to share this with my colleagues from the office...
Thanks for your video, but if I do that in the office people will think I'm strange. So I'll have to stick to your already helpful movement tutorials when I get home, which have helped me enormously! 😊 Love you 🤟
I do some stretches in the toilet cubicle every time I go 🚽✨
@@Alice_Walker I'll have a go ! 😂👍👍
Love the stretches :). But isn't stretching the muscles from a cold state controversal? What's your take on stretching without warmup?
This is almost exactly what I need. I drive about 1000 miles a week. Are there any stretches I can do in a parked car, or just outside of a parked car?
1.Also crucial to add massaging your upper chest right underneath your collar bone. It dictates the stiffness of your shoulders. If it's tight, your shoulders is gonna tilt forward. Use a small ball or some sort of stick and dig into it.
2.Also pull exercises with a narrow grip and focus on keeping your back and neck straight. Lift light in order to feel that squeeze in your back and neck and not heavier that will focus more on your arms. It won't do you any good. If done right, you will feel that hunchback relief right away.
3.Reverse butterfly with a rubber band while standing. Again, you target areas that will straighten you up if you focus on your posture during this exercise. It's also good for your shoulders. It opens them up.
4. Do point 1 and 3 before any strength training. Trust me, my workout sessions got a massive boost after i started doing those in my warmup routine.
Have you got any stretches for sciatica
I did the most wonderfull stretch now I feel revived
I am fully in love with you ! You are such an amazing person
3:25 I would cal that standing dogg🤓
Love your vid’s 🥰
Thank you💖💖💖 and how should we strech if we stand up for more than 8 hours a day. Some jobs require that. 😘
Very beautiful
Hello! I was looking at the workshop challenges you have created. If I hear some clicking sounds in my hips when I extend my knees out and rarely some clicking sounds in my knees , which ones of the challenges would be of most benefit for me? Much appreciated!
Stretch #3 is amazing, and as a bald, bearded man, I don't get to feel like a proper lady very often so that's a bonus.
I’ve been telling all my clients that “Sitting is the new smoking” for a while now but I always felt like an idiot saying it 😂😂😂😂 I guess I wasn’t wrong
Do we need warm up before stretching?
Hi, what is your opinion about ortho chair? Do you have one ? Thank
do you have any recommendations for chairs? I see you're sitting in a simple foldable chair here
❤
and I like how the body is spaced out from five inches from left and right thigh.
twenty thigh ups, I felt a happy pop

5:37 please tell me those are leggings and I can get them. 😍
