How to fix a broken shear bolt on a snow blower

When the auger of a snowblower stops moving snow there's a good chance the shear bolts have broken. Here's how to change them out in under 30 minutes.
All you need is a center punch, hammer, and wrenches. Always be safe an unplug the spark plug, remove the key, and turn off gas to engine.

Hi my snowblowers bolt just fell out. Im not sure if it sheared or not. Should I buy a shearbolt in order to fix it?

Sorry...just saw this. I always have a few shear bolts on hand. If the auger is free spinning then the shear bolt should be replaced. Thanks for watching.
