Im only 56 and i have no teeth. I used to be so aware of my looks. She inspires me to push past self consciousness. Its nice to see such a beautiful lady live life without excuses

think Abby looks real good ,but it´s perhaps her decission not to take some Tooth if she does she looks much younger and you can see a really good looking Woman,-think that is a little bit like Willie Nelson and his Guitar Digger easy that Gibson builds a Artis modell for him but he plays Digger so it´S ok.

It's irrelevant whether a guitar makes sound without strings because Abby is not a guitar and her teeth are not strings. Pretty obvious. She communicates just fine without teeth. Better than most folks actually.
I was blessed enough to meet Miss Abby when she was traveling through the NW. She’s just as beautiful in person as she is on an interview. There are plenty of people walking around with no teeth. Who cares! It's what's on the inside that counts! But they still love to tear people down. Having no teeth does not necessarily mean bad hygiene. Some have legit health issues. You never know someone's story or struggles, therefore you shouldn't judge! But..... (it's okay if it's on the internet, where you can hide your own identity and bully people, so you won't be judged as well! 🙄 Sarcasm! ) those haters wish they were as beautiful, and talented as Abby! 💯

Years ago in a family of eight. We lived in a small home. In the woods dusty roads. Lol back when they used to oil the roads to keep the dust down. I still remember that smell. But in the house we only one bathroom. I never saw a tooth brush until I was into my teens. A little later in life I was on the wrong side of a Billy stick. And my top teeth smashed out. Oh the pain. I ended up with a top plate. And the day I received them. It was a great day for me. I remember my friends and family members saying all nice things like they would. But wasn't them that bothered me. It was those that didn't know me. That's what I wanted. I wanted to be able to actually look at a person when I talked to them. Without the stare. Most people were pleasant. But others were disgusted. In general it was uncomfortable. But today I lost two of my bottom the front ones. Oh man can't to get them replaced. It's really more for my comfort. I think we all as humans naturally stare. It's not that you mean to. But it's there briefly. I come less of a person's appearance. It's their demeanor that I judge. If you know what i mean.
Derrick Connolly I know the smell of oiled roads. This was in early 50’s. I never knew what oil but my Grannie threw a hissy fit worried about that black nasty poison getting in her well water.
This woman has rhythm and soul. And a great head of hair.
Also she is a very pleasant person, she is simply the best ,playing those spoons,and a pretty lady.she deserves an Academy award,and i love her terrier god bless Abby.

The young man said it best …. people crave the original down to earth folks that busker’s are. And Abby said that since air conditioning people don’t stay on the porch to cool off they go inside and because isolated. Busking makes the street everyone’s front porch and lets folks learn about each other again. It a wonderful heritage that I hope never dies.

My band hit Ashville about 6 years ago 4 our first time. I was sitting on a corner waiting for the Mando player and other guitarist and you walked up introduced yourself and asked if we where about to play, you where so nice, asked if there's anything we needed. You really put me in a good mood that day(had been kinda a stressful week(s). What a great greeting to Ashville. Your a total class act Abby!

She is absolutely precious! Dang I wish I had a crazy Aunt like that! I would spend every minute of my day with her! And I would tell all my friends that she spoon-fed me when I was an infant
Whenever I watch Abby in these videos, I find myself leaning in to hear what she has to say because I know that after listening I'll have learned something new about what really matters in life. She is so real, and lovely and wise, I'd love to meet her in person, she is able to reach people thru her music and sincerity, in a way that makes you feel like a better person for knowing her.

Abby is awesome. I think people who are derogatory about her are really just shocked by the realization of how fake they are themselves-being ultra consumers and slaves to fashion-when compared to someone who is totally genuine. Abby is the mirror that lets them see themselves.
American culture worships the body now, instead of God. Appearance and health are their supreme focus. To not look good and live a "healthy" lifestyle are sins to them. Very sad.

@Ewolf5150 Yep. This woman's experience is not an average experience to the EXTREME if you were to choose to live that way. We all know what the average experience would actually be like: pretty much like 30 days into this woman's life of homelessness....except it stays that way forever.. constant hunger, constant lack of hygiene, etc., etc. Good for this woman, I'm happy for her success, it's a very interesting story and I'm sure she is indeed a great, unique person...however...I wouldn't recommend doing this....if you value even the most basic comforts such as food, soap and water on command. I for one choose to work 7 days a week and don't have extra money to hand out to dirty hippies with pipe dreams of a grime-covered, communist "Garden of Eden".

I have just discovered the real Abby, listened to her music (fascinated), watched and listened to her, and I'm amazed at the focus of a lot of comments. Yes I had that when I first laid eyes on her or anyone with missing teeth but in about 10 seconds you get right past it. You just watch the whole articulate, musical being.

Slept hobo jungle s ate day old cakes panhandle and it was a interesting but tough life. A lot of the bulls you run into can hurt you and hurt you bad. But the track Bo's are great for the most part.
