I have watched you a lot I play the rhythm . I am in my 70 . My grandfather played the bones and mad his own and me a pair at the age of 7 . It is special as it is something that my grandpa taught me . He was from Ireland and came over to the USS a young man.

Wow, as a kid in MI, I was raised by a ridge runner. So, I had a little southern in me. Lol
I would pick up spoons and play them for my mother. She would laugh her butt off. It made me feel good that I could get her to laugh. I wasn't that good, but I loved playing those spoons...I should pick them back up now that kids are gone and that I'm retired now....

I lived in Greenville, Sc for over a decade, I worked out of Ashville quite a bit. Bluegrass roots run deep in them hills, which I enjoy. You're the only person I see playing spoons. You're pretty fucking awesome!!

You can find some good spoons in antique shops that sell items by the piece. Or even thrift stores. Funny how each spoon is different and has it’s own sound and feel and is just right for you. Like any musical instrument.

Being a front man, mostly rock n roll, the folks I play with are surprised when at home, while we do guitar pulls I sometimes.grab a pair of table spoons and Hambone it up!😎🎸🍺🎼
