My band hit Ashville about 6 years ago 4 our first time. I was sitting on a corner waiting for the Mando player and other guitarist and you walked up introduced yourself and asked if we where about to play, you where so nice, asked if there's anything we needed. You really put me in a good mood that day(had been kinda a stressful week(s). What a great greeting to Ashville. Your a total class act Abby!

Don't listen to thoes fools your a great artist, and I'm listening every day and you are as beautiful as god made and i find you attractive you your spoon playing it is shit hot. I'm 44 and walk with a cane and I get looked at funny to. I can't find a girlfriend because of it I had a stroke at 33 and I had a seizure 7 or more years a go and I fell onto a table and destroyed my shoulder to the point it can't be operated on or fixed and my back was messed up too I was in a coma for several weeks the doctors put me on a extremely strong pain killers not telling me the addiction that goes with it I never abused the meds and took them as prescribed but after years of taking them I started having problems with my body because it was saying I need more so I dropped off thoes meds in 3 months and now use cbd instead and I'm so much better I would love to get your autograph you have so much talent. I thought I would tell me my story because you shared yours

I was in a long term program many years ago and I dreamed of riding Freight Trains when i got out. I seriously wanted to and though about it alot. I had Emperor of the North, A#1 ideas from the movies. You are right. It was Freedom I longed for. MetaPhisically, and psychologically . Being from NYC, the only train yard was at West 34th street and at the time they were working on what I think was an underground aqueduct system. So 24/7 construction with no access. Glad i didn't keep trying and other matters of Life got in the way. But you couldn't be more right that Freedom is a State of Mind and it doesn't matter where you are. Wise words of experience. Thank you.

People like Abby are some of the most interesting and amazing people with the best stories! If we had buskers where I live, I'd never get anywhere because I'd be dancing on the sidewalk all day long. These performers interrupt the boring everyday norms and remind us that we have souls that need to be nourished with song and dance! Keep on keeping on your beautiful and true souls!

My great grandson just took his first class with Hobey Ford and is GIDDY with excitement! I am so glad that he gets to be with a master that makes the world more fun with this superb skills and that Hobey is willing to share his passion. Or, since I am a farmer, I need to take care of the parts of the plant to be able to reproduce it, so it becomes larger or many more then it is Every time I get to do that there is the thought that comes to my head of Wizdom and a guides to perform task what it would want through trial and error I have learned what each one wants and how to make it, so it is happy and glad that I am in the position of being the puppet or even the parrot right now 😊💧

hobey ford is fantastic! however he mentions that teschners puppets did have the capability to tilt their heads and that he came up with this mechanism. this is actually not true, teschners puppets could also tilt their heads! this can be seen clearly in both various uploads of films made with puppets from teschners cabinet, from schematics and notes that can be found online and also in the documentary available from the DVD about his work 'Die Bühnen des Richard Teschner', sold buy the Art history museum of Vienna.
Protect this man at all cost. He is a national tresure.
