This is all just my experience and opinion, so please, no scolding or in-fighting: I've got a handful of newer great musicians who are very busy but will willingly answer appropriate questions -- but they tend to have little tolerance for hero worship or adolescent nonsense or "tell what the song (fill in the blank.) is REALLY about.

I didn’t think it would be announced and released so fast. after a decade finally we have preorders and release date. apparently some young fan sent an email to Neil asking if he would ever release more Archives albums since the fan’s uncle was getting older and didn’t want to pass on w/out hearing it all. Neil responded it all will be released and that’s why we’re getting so many unreleased albums, live albums and Vol. II box set now

$250.00 for ten compact discs, three of which have been previously released. The remaining tracks unreleased or alternate versions along with previously released songs that most fans already own... Are you frikkin' kidding me? Oh, and it comes in a nice cardboard box with a book full of pictures. As a longtime fan of Neil's music, this is where I get off the bus. I purchased the Archives 1 on DVD no less, for less than half the price, brand new. For those who have no qualms purchasing this collection for this kind of money, God bless you every fool should be liberated from their hard owned.

doing a little research i found out it's called "Raised on Robbery by Joni Mitchell"
This is a Joni Mitchell song -- Raised on Robbery -- I believe off Court and Spark,. not sure...Mitchell is playing, I believe , one of his Gretsch White Falcons and he's playing the only Fender Telelcaster or Esquire I've ever seen him use.. He's plays it a lot on Tonight's the Night -- and he's pictured playing and holding it on the inside of the Tonight the Night record.... Those two Canadian artists are so similar in backgrounds and stuff, yet so different in other ways......much mutual respect... I rarely see them playing just together so this will be fun..... If I had to guess, I'd say it was done at some point around the '73 tour -- if it's after 73 tour -- at least he ditched the Flying V -- those thing NEVER stay in tune no matter what I did to them.... His should Never leave the American Indian Wooden Statue that held on on stage for decades... thanks.... haven't bought this yet... just recalling memory.

Massive disappointment. 75% of this material is avaiable elsewhere. The essential disc here is Osaka 1976 . It is unconsciable that time fades away was not included .
