For ornament and glitter purchases I highly recommend these Canadian suppliers (both located in Ontario):
www.designblanks.ca and www.bluesapphire28.com - Jak na to + styl
I did this with my grandkids. I wish I had seen this before as the squirt bottles would have been less messy.
Willa Eklund omg me too this past Saturday. Glitter, glue, everywhere 🤣
This is so smart! I love the pink glitter
Absolutely gorgeous!
Those are absolutely beautiful. I must try to make them.. Thanks for sharing
Inside out ornaments...what a great idea!

This is a wonderful idea. No mess no fuss. And the ornaments are beauty. Thank you for the tip.
Thanks for watching and commenting. :)
I made same ornaments using your method. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome. :)
Very pretty
Great tips! Thanks!
This was the best glitter ornament video
This is amazing! Thank you
Thanks for watching and commenting Vicki :)
love the damp paper towel trick!!
Thank you for the tip regarding plastic bottles for glitter and polycrylic and I have done exactly this with mine. It is so convenient and like how I can put the extra glitter and polycrylic back on the bottles so easily. Would also rather tip over a plastic bottle than the polycrylic can.
Great tip.... Thank you
Great idea.
Thanks for the tips.....💗
You're very welcome. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The glitter mess is the best part!! This is cool though 😄
Great video!
Love this💜💜tyfs new subbie😘hugs xoxo
This is wonderful! I wish I would've seen this before I made my glitter mess this year
I detest using glitter (really and honestly, I detest it) but I love the end product. :)
@@AuntyCrafty your idea of putting the glitter into the bottles is genius! I'm thinking I'll probably spill the glitter putting it into the bottles, even with a funnel haha.
LOL! I had some spillage so I completely understand where you're coming from Stacey LOL
I love this
Thanks Holostorm. :)
Can we see the unicorn ornament video?
I use the exact product and method you do. And some of my ornaments have missing spots. Any ideas why please?? Also, I've heard aleen's glue is good to use for this. Any thoughts ? Thank you
Super cute!!! In the bottles, did you have only glitter?
Yes, I poured the glitter into the bottles with a funnel then labelled them with their colour names/numbers so I knew which supplier to re-order from when I got low. The polycrylic was in it's own bottle and I simply refilled it with a funnel when low as well.
Bravo! 👏👏👏
Hi. Does the polycyclic need to be wet inside the ornaments?
Oh my goodness those turned out so Gorgeous 💖I am definitely going to try this I've been wanting to but I didn't want to make a mess so now I know how to do it 😂 u did a really good job explaining this GREAT JOB 👍💞💐
Could you do a video on how you turned the bulbs in to unicorns
I hope to soon.
Yes, please!
So Much Better Than Spending $30.00 On A Pack Of Ornaments From The Store That's Most Likely To Break Within A Year 👍
M B Very true 😁
Or just wait after christmas is over and get them cheaper
Very cleaver ;-)
Do you have a video showing how to assemble your unicorn decorations?
I hope to.
What to do if you still see spaces in your ornaments? Repeat the steps?
Thanks for this pretty diy. I can't understand the glue that do you used.

LOVE your idea, but what is that 1st stuff you put in the bulbs before you put the glitter in,?

What else can I use if I don't have the poly glue ?
Thanks, I have been doing it this way from the beginning. Do you put the excess glitter back in the bottle too? It sounded like there was quite a bit left in the bulb. Have you done a video on the unicorn ornaments. Yours are adorable.
Hi Buddy. Thanks for watching and commenting. I normally don't have extra glitter left over in the ornaments but IF I do I don't put back into the glitter container bottles (as it might be slightly damp from poly and would ruin the loose glitter in the bottle). I think I've got it down to a science at this point on how much glitter to add to the ornament without having too much left over (if that makes sense?). I will be doing a video tutorial on the unicornaments in the near future. Thanks for asking for that. :)
If i made these i would so i can put my love ones name or happy anniversary on it.
Yes. You absolutely can :)
what brand of glue do you use ?
Scusa...che prodotto è quello nelle bottigliette di plastica?
Where did toy get your squeeze bottles from. So convenient.
Hi Meliy, they were purchased from a local dollar store in the kitchen aisle. Thanks for watching and commenting on the video. :)
Dollarama is the store’s name but that is a Canadian store. I am not sure if is nation wide but there are a lot of them in Ontario where I live.
@@sparkle5ms, you're correct. Many dollar stores and even Walmart stores carry condiment squeeze bottles.
Easy peasy glitter squeezy
I know this was a while ago but I
think you could use a clean bottle cap to seal the opening when you shake the glitter around. It would be washable and reusable instead of using a paper towel.
Paper towel is so much easier and nothing to wash either :)
Where is the glitter from? They are beautiful
Renylllyn, I purchase bulk fine glitter from many sources. In the comments below the video you will see I've mentioned a few.
Brilliant idea, just wish we could get the polycrylic over here in uk. i know there are alternatives but they say polycrylic is best. Thank you again for sharing.
You're very welcome Maria. Thanks for watching and commenting. I know there are alternatives for polyacrylic. Some people have had success using floor polish type products (although I've also heard that it doesn't last more than a year before the glitter starts falling out). Here's hoping you can find something suitable in the U.K.......fingers crossed.
Maria Fleming can you get it off of Amazon?
Did you use a funnel to get the glitter in the bottles? I am thinking I would make a huge mess putting the glitter into the condiment bottles.
Hi Sharon, yes I used a funnel. I share many tips/tricks over at my FB page facebook.com/CDNAuntyCrafty/
Where do you get your glitter
These are great and love your method! What glitter are you using?
Hi Deb. Thanks for watching. Most of the glitter I use is from a few different buy-in groups here in Canada. I use the extra fine crafting glitter
Which polycrylic finish do you use? There’s different ones and not sure if they all work the same.
Hi there, I used the polycrylic in the teal coloured can.
@@AuntyCrafty Is it the gloss finish?
Virginia, please visit my FB page for a photo of the product used. facebook.com/CDNAuntyCrafty/
What about the extra glitter in the ornament?
Once you get used to knowing how much glitter is required for each size of ornament you most likely won't have any glitter left in there. You can however put the extra glitter back into the glitter container or dump into trash. Start by using less than you need and only add a bit at a time until you get used to how much is required for each ornament.
What is poly acrylic? I have never heard of that before.
Kelly Stanoyevic it’s a clear protective layer usually used for wood work. Like cabinets and stuff to make it easier for clean up and to protect the paint. You can find it in the paint section at hardware stores!
Polyurethane
@@willowsverge3046 NOT polyurethane! Polycrylic! Two separate products.
Sorry what is poly acrylic? Is it a sort of glue?
Paddy Fox Polycrylic is kind of a glue. I’m actually going to be trying it out myself.
@@nickijaycox7773 thank you
Polycrylic isn't a glue. It's a clear coating for painted/stained surfaces. Please visit my FB page for more info/photos of the product used. facebook.com/CDNAuntyCrafty/
Aunty Crafty whoops, my bad. 😁👍🏼
So there isn't excess glitter in the ornament to dump out?
C Mills I’m sure that there is a little bit of loose glitter, she just didn’t shake them out in the video.🤔 I’ve made these, but I use a lot of glitter just so I know they’re gonna get coated well. Then I just tap out the excess. 🙂 Happy Crafting! 😊
@@nickijaycox7773 yes I usually have some to dump out too. I thought wow she has it down perfectly!
C Mills, once you get the hang of it, there will very minimal or no glitter left in the ornament to shake out. :)
What kind of glue do you use to put in them
Lisa, it's not a glue. Please visit my FB page to see the product that is used for the ornaments. facebook.com/CDNAuntyCrafty/
NOT a glue! Minwax Ultra fast drying polycrylic protective finish, clear Satin, water cleanup. Ive seen some others who use a diff type of furniture polish but you can't find it now. This method is the best explained as to not get the glitter all over the place. Drain the ornaments in the cups, take the drips and put it back in the squirt bottle. Saves $ that way.
Why do you put the polycrylic on the inside first?
Think it's the "glue" the glitter sticks to.
It coats the ornament in preparation for the adhesion of the glitter.
Oh okay... thanks
Where would I buy the poly acrylic?
Hi Wes, polyacrylic can be bought at hardware stores here in Canada (Home Hardware for sure has it). I'm not sure where you are located though but if you're in the states then maybe check online to see who sells it?
@@AuntyCrafty Thank you. I'll look for it...
@@AuntyCrafty can you take a picture of the poly acrylic

Very pretty...but oh, all that plastic 🙈🤔
lovely but you have the eyebrows upside down, love..
They are closed eyes with eye lashes, love.
The eyelashes can go up or down depending on the look you're going for (open or closed eyes)
