I love all of it! I love your beautiful sketchbook, the contrast between the black and white on the kraft paper, your drawing style, your imagination... all of it! 😍
Love your inktober entries 1-7. The stippling on the blanket on day one looks really good, but I love them all. I hope your eye heals up quickly. Hugs and prayers ❤
Thank you! My eye is mostly ok now, the eyelid swelling has gone down, just a bit of a lump on my eyebrow still. I think it was caused by my cat fighting me when he didn't want to go to the vets for his yearly jab, last week. He's so gentle, he never normally scratches but he gets so scared of going in the carrier. (He was a stray, so you always wonder what happened to them previously to make the so scared)
Such a beautiful first week of Inktober, Lora. I love every drawing. The Kraft paper with black and white pens give a lovely vintage feel to the drawings. Hoping your eye is getting back to normal now. ❤
I love your style of drawing with the limited colors on the brown paper! I went the opposite way with a large sketchbook and full color. The sketchbook I made thanks to your instructions by the way. I’ve made several in the past few weeks 😊
Thank you so much! I don't usually draw every day, so it seemed wise for me to keep the challenge as small and simple as possible haha. I'm so happy to hear that you've been able to make your own sketchbook using my tutorial! Does it feel different than using a shop bought book?
@@madebylora it feels different only in that I can make exactly the size I want with the exact paper I want. And now I’ve found a use for all the pretty fabric I’ve been hoarding 😂
The main idea is to draw with some kind of ink, but lots of people also add colour, either with pens or even watercolour. I like to keep my options simple but everyone decides for themselves what supplies to use. There are also lots of different inktober prompt lists that people have made with different themes (if you do a search online for inktober prompt lists, you’ll probably find lots of them), but personally I like to stick with the “official” inktober list. I hope that is helpful and not more confusing!
@@katsmith8263 I don’t think there are strict rules. Personally I don’t think watercolour counts but I know some people use it on top of a pen drawing. I guess most pens could be classed as ink, it’s really up to personal preferences I think. On the official inktober website (inktober.com) it just says “make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if you want)”. It doesn’t specify what should or shouldn’t be used for the ink. Most of the sketches I’ve seen, seem to be using fountain pens or fine liners. Sorry it’s a bit vague, but everyone does it a bit differently.

👍👍👍
All of the drawings were fabulous! When I first saw the drawing of the lace, I first thought it was a piece of lace glued to the paper :D
Thank you so much! What an amazing compliment, thank you!

Aww thank you! I always love your sketches too!
Love your choice of design for each word! The lace you drew is beautiful!
Thank you so much 😊
I had to giggle when I saw your lacework for spiders, because I drew a spiderweb quilt block for mine. Different fiber based art, same basic idea :)
You have spiderwebs on your bed? Haha, at least my spiders are squashed in books! Hehe 😂
love the colour of the paper in the mix too. ❤
Thanks, It's just amazon packing paper haha
Wow. beautiful sketchbook
Thank you

Thank you! Eye is nearly back to normal now (just a bump on my eyebrow still, but that doesn’t affect my vision!)
@@madebylora glad to hear it, Lora. 😀
I hope your eye is healing well. I look forward to seeing the rest of your inktober drawings. Have a wonderful day.
Thank you! My eye is fine now (still just one last little spot on my eyebrow, but the rest is all cleared up!)
This is brilliant! Hope your eye is getting better!

I don't really understand -do I have to draw with ink ? With ink only?
