Shoot, i have never in my life seen a single person who doesn't instantly fall into that behavior around charismatic people. I always have to make a conscious reminder to not let myself get fooled by that perfectly natural reaction. Yet, people that have that aura of instant celebrity in the room may actually need just a normal, genuine friend even more than you do. Celebrity is not the same as social fulfillment.

Yeah, I was surprised that they wanted someone younger. I assumed they got an older actress who looked young so they could easily age her up as the series progressed.
Whoever complained about Anya's casting because of her age didn't read the books.
In The Last Wish is said that Yennefer could be really old, but she looks like a 20-ish years old woman. Anya is 24.
Cahir - in books he isn't that dark. He attacked Cintra but he saved Ciri. He was in love with her - some kind of love-hate relationship. He even allied with Geralt. He was bad but not psychopath and sadist.
Ciri's entire on-screen depiction was stale anyway, and i highly doubt his skin-tone changes the his characteristics. That being said, it's a shame they didn't showcase his nuisance side.

Word "dark" was about his character traits because in the show he is just a psychopath. The same issue I have with Fringilla. In the books she was ok, but in the show she is a religion fanatic, she just aims for the dead. Literally.

She connected with many in that unstoppable moment that mothers go through looking for their child. I do love the whole cast and sometimes I love Frey then Anya then Henry.
