It could be better than GoT but they decide to change everything witch werent good idea at all ... me watching it was preety much disapointed like probably most of the books fans also those who didnt reed the books did felt it like miduim quality fantasy series all becouse the changes in plot history that happend. Like the ciri trail to become a killer out of a demolished royal kid to be a badass killer was so much flaten that no one felt really into it. Also the conection to geralt and yen was not well showed wich is absolutly amezing in the books and realu great written giving the show all tools to manipulate it right way. ... nit saying that i hate the show .. i wateched it all .. but realy these vhanges has flaten the real isuues going on in witcher history

All the cast members are so appropriate for their roles. Anya’s performance is so captivating I can’t believe she is so young. I’m such a huge fan of hers ❤️
Aside from everyone crushes and mutual companions, Anya Chalotra is an amazing actress. She definitely will have an impact on this industry. Freya Allan as well, she's a gem of a talent in my opinion. She bloomed in season 2, wonderful to watch :)

Of course she doesn't have experience, she is 20 years old and basically started her carrier with this show as most of her previous projects are, let's be honnest, pretty irrelevant.
Yet despite the lack of experience she is doing better than the vast majority of the other actors in this show. I'd only consider Henry and Jaskier's actor to be better than her in season 2...
The progress she made between season 1 and 2 is just stunning.
You basically have to be blind to not see the potential here, IMO. How can you even pretend that her performance isn't impressive in the last episode unless you came to troll ^^

I wish people would stop calling him English. He's from the Bailiwick of Jersey. Its not part of England, but a crown dependency. He's British but not English.
I think even there would be straight guys that have a crush on Cavill... what a guy. Fits so well in the Superman and Witcher characters and the amount of other roles he's been rumoured to or suggested to be in is incredible, almost like there's no other male actor that could do a comparative job as Cavill. For instance Bond, The Highlander. If I would pick alternatives for The Highlander I would suggest Alexander Scarsgard (?), the actor from TrueBlood and the most recent Tarzan flick. I see him as a good fit for that role. Bond, just oozes Cavill, but an alternative could be (some of the more popular), Christian Bale, Dan Radcliffe (actually good potential), Tom Ellis, Richard Madden, Jamie Dornan, and John Boyega or even Tobias Menzies. Of course whoever takes on the role needs to 'fit' the role long well established.
He is an amazing actor, kind person and I love how nerdy he is. But I've never had a crush on him. He's not my type

Cahir isn't in the games.... he gets a brief mention in Witcher 3 (depending on dialogue choices during main campaign and Blood and Wine) but unless he was revived as a ghost, he's not in the games.

Eamon Farron has a great, unique face for an actor! Not beautiful, but very memorable!
For me hes similar to cilian murphy. Both dont fit in classic beauty standards but their carisma, especially in the roles as Thomas Shelby/ Cahir, makes them very attractive, at least for me.

Okay just a Point of Information: Joey Batey does NOT play the Lute. He plays the Lute like a guitar which is very humorous (& cringey) for my husband who is a real life Lutenist. Love me some JB though!!

The books give a very detailed description of each character. Its not a guessing game, on the edge of having to come up with your own imagination of what might be. I can understand why people are mad about some picks. Its like giving an apple to someone and telling them to draw it on paper but instead they draw a banana. The story line and plots etc is a botch on its own. Its best just to not read the books or play the games if you truly want to enjoy this series and not feel like its a disappointment.

Is it me or is it strange that Henry’s girlfriend looks like 25 even tho she’s 32 or some? Idk in the pic she looks very young.
That's cool and all the the creators of the show need to try and be accurate not just cast anyone just because they feel like it or they can in the future if they start casting new introduce characters and have them not look nothing like they are supposed to look like then they will cry hate and racism when fans aren't to impressed, it's like making 20% of the wakandan natives walking around in the back white or asian or mexican and making 15% of the main wakandan characters mexican, white or asian people wouldn't like that it makes no sense, the north and skellige island supposed to somewhat represent northern/western europe hundreds of years ago and under the north it's supposed to represent more of western southern Europe hundreds of years ago, while far towards the east and far far towards the south you can guess what kind of people would roam those areas, it's a fantasy show with monsters but every fantasy starts in a different part of the world, anyway I think all the cast are doing a great job even the ones who don't look like how the characters are supposed to look like but it would just add to the immersion a bit more in my opinion.
Except the Wakanda is explicity stated to be an African tribe in the MCU lore, and the MCU use our real earth as a reference.
The Witcher is set in a completelly imaginary world that has nothing at all to do with Earth.
Fantasy do NOT starts in different part of the world. The majority of them start in their own world and there isn't a single Earth criteria that actually is legitimate in them.
The biggest moral of the story in The Witcher Saga is "racism is bad". That's one of the main point that the author wanted to make.
So really when people are like "this character shouldn't be black", the only thing it shows is that they did not understand what they just read.

I am all for diversity in movies, but only where it fits. And I am not talking just about colour, but also about hair colour, eye colour, tall, short, slim, fat. In real life it doesn't matter how you look. But if you are making a movie especially adaptation, it sometimes matter. Someone created something incredible and had certain vision in his mind. Your job is than to portrait that vision as much accurate as possible. Nowadays I am so obsessed with lord of the rings or attack on titan and if I am making a movie I would cast only people who look like their counterparts, it would add a new immersive feel to that movie.
