This is all garbage. Jimmy Bartel couldn't coach a flea circus and the only reason St Kilda isn't doing as well as their fans want is because their list simply isn't good enough.
Anyone who knew anything about footy knew the saints where rubbish. Even going into the final series last year knew they were just lucky to be there and weren't a real threat. Ross won't even come close to winning one at the saints not that I think he's a good enough coach to push for one these days anyway. Games gone past him.

Ross inherited a good list at both St Kilda and Fremantle, this time at St Kilda the list is not very good
He does not have the ability to build a list. Kicking 8-10 goals a game will not win you premierships.

It’s the same as last time Ross coached stkikda he taught them how too defend until they had it right and the players were mature enough to contend he had no pre season last year just a year seeing what he had available

I'm glad neither Fremantle or St Kilda has never brought Ross Lyon a premiership as a head coach.
His only success is getting to the grand final by using teams that another coach has developed

We saw how good he was when someone worked out St Kilda game plan and the same at Fremantle.
I hope this St Kilda side never gives him another sniff of finals action, and the St Kilda Board sacks him before he has a chance to infect the players like he did at Fremantle
saints are like the bulldogs. not as good as everyone keeps saying. nobody had any of these teams to finish in their final 8, but scrutinise them like they are top 4 material.

No ones said saints are good. They have a terrible list apart from a handful of players.
Exactly, I am baffled why they keep saying the Dogs are world beaters. Sure, they have some good players, Bontapelli is still peerless IMO, love watching that guy.... they have a bunch of good footballers sure.. but none of the rest of them are the superstars they are made out to be. Look at the Blues, Curnow and Harry McKay are guns, and that guy Tom De Koning, he is turning into a very good player as well. I dont rate the Dogs forward line as having anywhere near the firepower as the Blues.

Difference is Bulldogs have a better list than the saints. Everything is stale at the dog's and the honeymoon period is over at the saints. I still can't believe they went back to their ex😂

@@PeterM1-qx1tz Fair enough! The moment I knew he was a complete bum was when he was leaving st kilda, four players were delisted and he announced them as retiring. They were like… wait on, maybe I want to have a go at another club. Very bad.

Ross Lyon is an average at best coach with an awful list that needs a total rebuild that they arent willing to do.
