Not to say I think Kane doesn't say some stupid stuff from time to time, but perhaps he saw something you didn't and the performances 4 weeks ago weren't as promising as you thought? Didn't even entertain that as a possibility, essentially accused Kane of guessing correctly.
I kind of think they're both wrong.
Martin could keep playing for another team and doesn't need to retire. Caro doesn't want him playing for anyone else other than Richmond.

@@worshaka I don't think it is an awful opinion, but I don't agree that he should retire rather than go to another team. Caroline's opinion however I think is based almost solely on her bias towards Richmond.
Tbf Kane said he should retire and leave immediately, not at the end his contract.
Kane said Harley is rubbish because he gets a cramp in the last 6 minutes of a game, and that he should be more like Nick Daicos. Nick got a cramp this weekend lmao. Nothing Kane says should be respected. Any takes that are "right" are obvious takes that everybody could make.

She was wrong on Riewoldt never saw the Forrest through the trees on him and the same happened with dusty, this is why Clarkson moved all 3 of Hodge, Mitchell and Lewis on interstate.
Tigers are a shambles, in for 5+ years of rebuilding with that list. Legitimately.

@@89joshuadavies only thing she did wrong imo was change her opinion. i think dusty’s still worth paying for. they’re acting like he’s having like 14 touches and 2 score involvements a game AT MOST. he’s averaging around like 20 and 6 or 7 score involvements for the last month and a bit… neale won a brownlow with less scoreboard impact in a FAR better team who was probably the best attacking team of 2023…
It is the same crap every week people who haven't coached are the expert gurus telling coaches how they should coach. If you are such a guru at coaching then go and coach. Always easy to sit behind a microphone and be a guru especially when your balls are not at risk but doing the job a lot harder. Strong people coach weak people critique.

Yze was a good not great player at a pretty average team. Is his perception as a coach affected by his time as a Melbourne player?
Melbourne were very far from average during Yze's prime which was the early-mid 2000's. Also Yze was a absolute gun as a player. He played 271 games and kicked 234 goals in the midfield.

Adem Yze seems like a guy who’s completely out of his depth. Seems to have completely overestimated their list and they’re getting smashed in just about every possible metric.
Doesn’t help when you’re getting smashed on the injury list too. Only have 26 players to pick from this round. He’s a new coach in a new club, I can understand why he might be choosing not to go hard on the playing group just yet. I would like to see a harder edge from him in the latter half of the season.
