This would be great to do the alternator if it weren't for the fact that you need to remove the condenser. To bad there isn't enough play in the AC hoses to the condenser to leave it connected but to be able to rock it backward along with the radiator.
If I loosen the condenser but remove the radiator will I have room to pull the compressor out? I have to replace my radiator hoses while I do the compressor.
😅😅😅😅😅 I guess you are a fresh mechanic.. 😅😅😅 people if nothing is wrong with your ac condenser.. please don't remove it .. the compressor cones out from the side .. just loosen frame bolt .. after removing the wheel .. .. no need to remove bumper and dem other things.
@adamn7516 remove the radiator fan .. gives you access to bolts on pipe .. remove wheel and inner liner .. two front frame bolts . Use a pry bar to pry down frame ... take our compressor. Replace with new same time .... then reverse the process..
Thanks for the comment, I’m not new to this but true to this. The procedure I demonstrated is Honda’s recommended procedure. I did mention in the video the option of going on the side by the subframe. 😊
Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching.

Wait you can do an entire compressor swap by doing nothing but removing the inner wheel well liner and removing one subframe bolt?

How long did it take you to swap it out when you did it?
