- Max got his first taste of the lean, mean #RB18 at a private filming day at Silverstone. 🏁
The team have now packed up and headed out to Barcelona where Max and Checo will be on track for three days testing the new car ahead of the 2022 F1 season.

Luckily it was more of a livery display over a car display. Same as Merc, AT and even Haas.

Max and Christian are the only 2 people in F1 that say masi shouldn't of been removed as race director 😂 but they have to say that as they were the beneficiaries of that complete utter farce of a race! Of it was me I'd give the title up because I wouldn't feel like a champion in the slightest but then what do expect from people who are pure poison to the sport! No honour, morals, shame, dignity or a shred of class about them! 💯

@@frazebean5117 Indeed. I don't think there's a season post 2013 wherein they've never scored a podium. Red Bull and Mercedes are probably the most consistent top teams today, unlike Ferrari which had awful seasons like 2020 and 2009.
I was thinking the same. Since RB was the last top team to reveal the actual car I was thinking they either have a killer design and didn't want anybody to see it before testing OR the have a turd and have used as much time as possible to fix the mess. Race will tell

The lack of a car brand on the rear wing leaves a lot to be desired, and I hope Red Bull will come to an agreement with Porsche and create a great car for this season.

@@GloomGaiGar because if you have the sponsors that pay for it you cant just refuse to brand some parts. I think more likely they dont have a sponsor that want to pay what RB want to get for that wing part

Those flaps on both ends of the front wing always make me think of a pair of airplane wings that were kinda welded together :D Such a unique design for the 2022 cars

Everyone will run the high nose. Ground effect cars need the high nose so air can pass under the front wing to flow under the car

In the thumbnail it really looks like a 2005 car + a halo. Awesome.
Although this is not the final car before the first race, I am surprised that the RB18 has gone back to low rake concept especially the current porpoising ground effect on the cars down the straights.
But there some aero parts which may may not be added to the cars until the final days of testing.
Man that Honda engine has my favourite notes on lock 🎶
So ready to see the first race in these new cars. Hopefully racing is actually improved as intended from the new regulations.

Christian can’t believe that this was the biggest team effort for any season. For one the cost cutting has forced many teams to divert employees to other departments so teams are not as big as they have been and I would also imagine that the lead up to the turbo hybrid era was a much bigger team effort to pull that all together.

Audio on F1 race coverage isn't very good normally. Nearly all the cars I've seen in videos like this sound better than on race weekend TV coverage.
