Jack Haley - "You Do the Darndest Things, Baby"

Bessie (Patsy Kelly) and Winston (Jack Haley) are married football coaches who are to prepare a college team for an important game against Yale University. Just before the event, their best player wants to drop out. Winston and Bessy decide (or rather: Bessy decides for them both) that the only way to make him stay is to lead him to believe that the girl he's in love with - a college charmer, Sally (Betty Grable)- really loves him back. They have a curious way of going about it...
