  • The MST Turbo Inlet was so easy to install and upgrade on the BMW m235i. The whole process was simplified just by having the adapter that feeds into the turbo. If you have any questions please feel free to leave it in the comments.

    @lso4860 Před 9 měsíci

    Curious to know if you removed anything else from the top of the engine to give you more room? Or is there a secret to getting you hands down from the top to get to the turbo side? I can't get my hands down far enough to even know where that bolt is located, let alone put the metal piece in there. In removing the PCV hose, on mine it's hard flex plastic, yet on your video yours seems to rubber or silicone? Some of the best DIY vids I've seen by the way.

      kinggrimlock35 catless 100% will throw cel. Sometimes high flow cat will. But to get the gains from a dp you need to get bm3 stage 2 tune. Also bm3 can code out cel. It doesn’t just clear codes but it will code out the o2 sensors.

    How come you didn’t go with an aluminum one this time? Is this one better than the aluminum one

    • @FritzRamos
      @FritzRamos  Před 2 lety +2

      Mostly because of ease of installation. Silicone is fine for this pipe. It's only carrying atmospheric air so the stress exuded on it and the risk of it failing is very low.

    Hey there, is the crank case vent hose and heater element necessary? I didnt catch it in your video. On my car the previous owner said he had it venting to atmosphere, at at some point my mechanic cut a hole for it in my intake and glued it there... i have a bigboost turbo inlet which I believe has a port for it but I can't quite see it or get to it

    • @FritzRamos
      @FritzRamos  Před 2 lety

      I suppose you could vent to atmosphere as long as you had a container to catch any oil like an oil catch can. Otherwise the engine bay could get messy. czcams.com/video/It5C7-tilRQ/video.html czcams.com/video/x5c7QqSaeEU/video.html hopefully these videos help.

      Is there something blocking you from pushing it the rest of the way? All I did was twist it side while pushing it in. Do your best to get your hand as far down as possible so that you are pushing the tube in a linear manner rather from the top.
