  • I just upgraded my charge pipes since the factory ones like to blow up and leak boost. I upgraded to the VRSF charge pipes. I took a lot of pictures during the installation so I decided to make a quick tips video. It's not a full blown tutorial so if you need that, go watch this video. It's great: • Evolution Racewerks F3...
    Good luck with your upgrade!

    This was a mod I did before I even started my channel. I'm pretty sure you're video is the only one on this. We need to get more people to realize this car is an amazing machine!

      With Mikey! Your videos are great man, you should do your own video on this. Very detailed and you get the angles really well so it might be easier to follow.

      Hey guys I’ve had one for a year now. Got a stage 1 booked. Gonna get a sports cat and got m performance already.
      What’s ebneifits of charge pipes?

    • @AxelPettersson-
      @AxelPettersson- Před 5 lety +1

      @@rayhanali3396 The benefit is that your charge pipe wont explode when you tune the car. A lot of n55s have broken the charge pipe even when stock so adding the extra pressure with a tune will raise the chance of it happening. Just a nice preventative maintenance thing to have done to save yourself a headache in the future.

    How much is a car lift like that? just curious, thanks for the vid. Ill be doing my IC and pipes at the same time my OE pipes are near 10 years old lol

      cheap one you can probably get brand new for around $4000-5000 including delivery and installation. if you find a used one and find a company to come deliver it and set it up yourself, you can probably get one for under $2000. for those without so much space, quick jacks seem to be pretty popular for smaller garages and those are even cheaper

    Could having a leak in the pipe cause a drivetrain malfunction fault pop up ?

      i picked up another m2 after this car and i tuned it on stock hardware and the charge pipe blew, and it threw a code. i basically had to drive it without boost for a week, but at least i could drive it and didn't need a tow

      I’ve got mine stage 1 and it cracked the pipe. Got it booked in next week for same ones as your video. Still using car for work hopefully it’s okay :(. Thanks for the info bro 👌👏

      @@mikeroo645 yeah just drive it nice and easy and it'll probably be fine. the worst part is the painful lack of power 😆

    Umm... my charge pipe looks so much different and it's the same, a vsrf, the upper part where the map sensor goes is a lot shorter
    Edit: Also it has 2 math ports at the bottom one, which is way longer.

    ??? 5:59 You have a full aluminum intercooler right there, why did you reinstall your OEM plastic one. Or was it not for your car?
