Hi Fritz- I’ve run into a bit of trouble… yesterday completed the mod per the video instructions. Today while on the highway the charge pipe disconnected at the compression ring- woops, there was a thunk and loss of power. I pulled over and was able to reset the pipe and properly this time, I had trouble with the alignment- and now it seems correct but there seems to be a bit of hesitancy with the power when I hit the gas from standstill, and sometimes it stalls when I come to a stop. Could I have damaged the engine when the pipe undid? Could this be a matter of coding to adjust idle etc for new equipment?

Great explanation. However, harbor freight engine support is a trash 🗑️ and the nut/screw stuck when the engine is underload. 30 min job is becoming in a 3 hours. Please purchase a good quality hook and engine support.

HIDs are designed to shoot focused light further out so you can actually see far ahead. LEDs will spread out that light instead of focusing outward and give the illusion that it's brighter

I did this today. However I found that putting the foam back before the bar and the plastic piece made it so much easier and ensured that the foam sat in the correct place.

While the BMW Fixing Bow Clip at the Exhaust Valve Actuator is often the cause of these horrible noises...there is another BMW design flaw that may be the culprit. The BMW parking brake cable plastic clip is brittle and flimsy and might/will fail. Then parking brake cable rubs on the driveshaft, making a creaking and rattling noise while driving. The horrible noise from the Exhaust Valve happens at idle and while driving. Thankfully, there is now an aftermarket fix, a billet aluminum parking brake cable holder. $130 The OEM cable clip is hard to access, but doable. Google AGA-PCC-854-898 for the part. FCP Euro and Justin Bruice have really nice DIYs for the install.

Great vid. Tho many bros don’t seem to understand that ASD isn’t just for that fake noise for your amusement while driving. Mainly, it controls your xenon/led light systems. I remember it as the each model selections are for the correct beam patterns used in each significant models and engine selections for the brightness and the length of your beams controlled automatically followed by vehicle’s speed. If you change any of those original settings done by the factory, the sequence of how it’s supposed to work might not work perfectly as it did before you’ve made any changes to it.

I just picked up some of this @ $46.49 USD for 5.28 qts or whatever it is. First time using "fully" synthetic. If I buy 1 more qt thats enough for 2 oil changes in my 19 civic 1.5t . I just hope its worth it. I always use castrol edge.
