What I think is that Duardo wants to take all over the syndicate by himself, so he made all the tragedies that syndicate “did” and is framing them, just like the infection in Olympus (which i think is the way to get the city abandoned and built the phase device in the trailers without anyone noticing). And he is using all this as a way for people to hate the syndicate and praise him instead. Maggie is just a “villain” in the story, as he is going to use this against the syndicate in the future, telling everyone that it’s unacceptable to have a salvonian rebel in the games, therefore getting “protected” by the syndicate.
She and Fuse are really cleverly written characters. On one side, you have a charismatic male who is quietly selfish and on the other, you have an unlikable woman who fights for freedom and for others. They did this on purpose and it’s so beautiful. I love Mad Maggie because of it. The Apex writers treat female characters so well. They set a standard.

If you've ever seen a video of a cartel execution I doubt you'd be saying they're "actually good people". They will literally torture people to death if they do anything that goes against their fucked up and evil organization.

Just watched this a third time and realized that the judge has an eyepatch from when Maggie hit him with her tooth.
I kinda disagree, I feel like people of salvo would still think of Maggie as a hero, just the rest of the galaxy sees it that way, and she doesn’t really seem to care what non salvonians think of her at all

I think the teaser on storm point was before the stories from the outlands, because Maggy's ship has Salvo logo on it
It was a piece that came off, she was captured after sustaining damage to her ship
apex really likes to not bring closure to there stories, they just move on to the next and leave the others half finished. thr only one we’ve seen the end of is rev and loba’s which ended really weirdly

Honestly my biggest question is why should The Syndicate care about Duardo Silva not wanting Maggie dead? He isn't a member of The Syndicate, he's openly against them, and trying to gain control of The Outlands for himself. I get that he's a high ranking member of society but why should The Syndicate give a single shit about what he wants?

Silva is not a member of the syndicate by himself but i bet he has a lot of people owing favors to him. After all he is has almost a monopoly of healthcare in multiple planets.

Well, I think you still feel all of the pain when you're getting shot at or blown up by a grenade, which I guess is kind of suffering, so they just made it so Maggie suffered. However, I want a confirmed answer to that question, as I wonder that, too

Is it just me… I’m actually glad they leave some not so important story points for us to interpret as we see fit. I don’t need respawn mansplaining us every little detail just to make us feel smart, like much of the storytelling these days seems to do.
