Anyone notice how in every trailer the "new" character they introduce absolutely dominate in their trailers but the next season trailer they get absolutely bodied
Well it kinda makes sense.

*new legends have a element of surprise.)*
When a new legend or weapon gets released, most people don't know how to counter said legend (or weapon).
Because they don't know what that legend or weapon does.
but when a legend has been out for a while, people learn how to counter it.
Just look at rampart, her turret at launch was extremely good because people didn't know how to counter it but after awhile they learned that they just needed to move a little to the side.

@@TheIronGabel exactly! One of pathfinders Jump lines is “hold your breath, if you have a respiratory system” it makes no sense how they take damage from gas
No one would play Caustic and Seer anymore because this three would counter both. Or the most would Play Path, ash and Reve (Im a Seer Main haha)
@@jackfish2706 corrosive substance, either damages their wirings or straight up damages their metal parts. I mean you say that, but it makes even less sense when fellow Caustic gets damaged by opposing Caustic, considering both wears a specialized gasmask designed for the nox gas.
By the end of the day, it's ludonarrative dissonance, or whatever that is. To achieve gameplay balance, lore would have to take a backseat in most instances. Who knows, perhaps the 'legends' fighting in the battlefield is just a green bodysuit human with mocap on who takes on whichever legends they 'picked', explaining why there can be multiple legends and why abilities affects everyone equally regardless of their biological composition.

Mirage is a funny legend, my main after Octane. But he needs some love.
A good way to make Mirage competitive would be to make his passive ability effective.
He is an offensive legend, making him invisible only during the seconds he uses a shield battery or syringe would be a great way to give him that little edge, needed to stay on the front line (you could possibly even boost the sound while he's on cure phase).
He wouldn't be a modification too Op, even when he raises the fallen from invisible, he often dies badly.
Yeah being invisable is a good idea when healing but they have to find a way to make it so people cant use a Phoenix and at 0.1 seconds left cancel and reuse making it infinite
